I figure it's costing him .5 seconds a lap just from sheer mass.
It's costing him half a second in straight line speed, but the handling characteristics of said top heavy barnet can be worth up to 2 seconds a lap, dependant on the nature of the circuit.

Imagine if he cuts his hair. He uses bigger helmets because of his hair. I dont know if that will give him half a second, i mean maybe it gives him even more.
Who told him that it looks nice on him? it should weights a few pounds on his head like those Bob Marly dogs, i hope he cuts it and wins his first gp soon.
