Silverstone GP: Predictions, Practice & Qual

Wow, I mean wow!

Some aussie guy at the front, but he doesn,t count as he just lucked out with another self-riding bike.............................

Don't be too surprised if a certain segment of amber-lensed admirers turn the anti-stoner vitriol up to 11 on the dial.

Somehow Vales backwards progress will be attributed to Stoner's failings as a developer.

Speaking of the Yellow Horde.... where's J4 these days? That boy's been silent as the grave.

As for me, I'm not worried. Rossi and JB will tidy things up soon enough. Another 80 seconds should do the trick.

Barring that, Ducati can hire Furusawa.

Okay... gloating complete.

Gloat away, bro!

Stoner is good, no doubt, but he enjoys years of development by other riders that brought the Honda to the level it is in today. Put any rider on the grid on this bike and they will all be within 0,1 second of Stoner pace.

Codos to Vale, to pick up the Ducati at the poor condition where Stoner has left its development.... lots of work to do, and only Rossi can do it.

That comment seemed ridiculous at the time and makes even less sense now. If Stoner can get better results on the same bike, without pushing as hard, what does that say about Valentino? People Stoner's his 'ambition outweighed talent' comment was out of line, but at least it was true in that moment!

Valentino is finding out what it is like to be on some seriously outpaced equipment. I really hope he can help develop it into a competitive bike (Jeremy and him seam like a good team for this) because the races are barely worth watching at the moment, you only really have a few guys that can win. At least in F1, you go into the weekend thinking one of Vettel, Webber, Hamilton, Alonso or Button could possibly do it (even though Vettel is dominating). Rossi taking out stoner (so he had no points from that race) masks how much the championship will get away.

That said, I hope Casey wins, I just wish it would look like a competitive weekend. The Ducati guys must be able to find some more performance than they have at the moment, over a second off the pace of the Honda's is absurd (we have come to expect that sort of performance from Suzuki unfortunately).

God, you Boppers will never let go of the fantasy.

Whatever you're smoking, did you bring enough for the rest of us?

Imagine Stoner on the 990 Honda with overnight specials for tires and Jeremy Burgess as crew chief.

Then we might have a different opinion on who is the second best rider ever.

Agostini will always be the greatest.

Over time will Casey push Vale from second to third?

Evolution has a Revolution…wow that song sounds familiar

…let me ask you? who developed the Honda??? the Honda has been one of the dogs until the latter part of the 2010 season and when was the last time that Honda won a W/C??? and what a joke is your statement ‘other riders that brought the Honda to the level it is today’...what a lot of bollocks, Pedro is been riding it since and what happened. Nothing’ from when, Nicky won the W/C but that was just out of consistency and a bit of bad luck on the part of ‘MR PERFECT VR’ what all this really proves is that VR is unless he’s on a Japanese top factory unit like the elks of Honda or Yamaha they have the resources the experience and the dough to develop things not today but yesterday. Ducati didn’t win anything until stoner put his legs over it, now Ducati has allot of development in motogp and a w/c to boot for VR to reflect on, but just can’t ride without abs traction control or remote control, so your remarks are pure gob belly gobs to put it nicely and diplomatically, Evolution you should be "Devolution"

Wonder if Rossi is getting pissed off with the inability of Ducati to make the bike work for him? Hence he ain't even trying.
