I'm with you Povol. I think Stoner has been very mature this year. In Jerez I think he had positioned himself where he was comfortable & was waiting for a late race charge until Tenpin came bowling down & skittled him. The last couple of races he has got to the front as early as possible & kept a gap to the next rider to eliminate the chance of this happening again. If it's wet again at Silverstone I predict he will get to the front early & control the race.

a few mins left in first practice and not even a comment? Stoner nearly a second up on everyone, as usual. It's gonna be a long season for some people.

Thats because the majority of members who post are British and at the track, as will I soon and half the American member are also here in the uk,the other half still in bed

You guys didn't make it for FP1?

Everyone will improve significantly over the weekend once they familiarise themselves with the track a little more.

There is no way Stoner will keep that near half a second gap in the final sector all weekend.

I know a lot of the guys are there. Not sure about Jum, gator and levvi yet. Tried ringing him but i doubt his mobile works here. I cant get there until tomorrow evening, Work and kids prevented that

Anyway, free practice meens .... ! But i expect Stoner will go well here.

The eastern side is awake now, what did i miss. Looks like a dry track from the lap times and Stoner is off and running. He is already close to q times.
