Silly Season 2012

Rubbish, more of your usual hilarious ........ that you state as fact without knowing jack about it-The genius behind the M1 Masao Furwasawa has stated the complete opposite.......but please continue to embarrass yourself. Rossi's Australian crew chief has come out and stated exactly what has developed on the Ducati this year already......nothing. How can you develop a bike when the engineering department fails to change anything....let alone what you asked for? Nothing has been debunked at all, the records stand, and you those of your ilk will get so disgusted next season when Rossi is competitive again, you'll runaway and hide- though I will miss the laughs

The Ducati was changed so much for rossi, more so than any other time in Ducati's history in GP. The trouble really lies with rossi but you just cannot accept that.

Of course Rossi will be competitive. He will be riding the bike that Lorenzo and Yamaha developed into the undisputed best bike in MotoGP in a depleted field of riders. He has had Ezpeleta run off the competition and make rules and manipulate manufacturers and supplies to give him what he wants and no doubt will have race direction turning a blind eye to any indiscretions committed as he tries to beat riders who are just plain better than he is. All so muppets like yourself can have your fantasy restored and celebrate the clown act whilst jacking off to your TV all whilst swearing that the competition is fair and above board.

Exactly, and Rossi has done .... loads more for Yamaha so I doubt he'll be second fiddle anyway. It is good for the series as it could potentially be a Jorge whitewash in 2013.

Your right, Rossi has done .... loads more for Yamaha than he's done for Ducati. He actually tried when he rode for Yamaha. Hence the title of his book, "what if I'd never tried it". Which he can now answer himself. Perhaps the next title should be, "I wish i never tried it", dedicated to Ducati.

"If only id never tried it" or maybe "how the .... did Stoner ride it", by valentino rossi

Soon to be followed by faster 5, "thank god big ears retired"

How many updates did he get last year? They threw parts at the bike like they never had before.

Must have cost them an arm & a leg. Where did it get them? May as well just go their separate ways now. It hasn't worked.

The best thing Rossi did for Yamaha was prove that it was not him developing the bike, it was Yamaha. This was proved when he failed to develop the Ducati, debunking the myth that he is the developer to the Gods. Everyone now knows that it is all Yamaha. No doubt Yamaha are very proud of this FACT.

I predict that Lorenzo will never sign another contract with Yamaha. He will leave at the end of his 2 year deal and go to Honda. Another legacy for Rossi.

And be teammates with Marc ?

You're saying if Yamaha has signed Rossi, Lorenzo will have a Rossi like fit, because his employer hired somebody he didn't want, he will hold a grudge and never sign with them again and this is somehow Rossi's fault (legacy)?

Dude that doesn't make any sense.

At first read, I thought you were being over-the-top sarcastic. But then, after thinking a bit about each of your statements, I realized that you're probably quite right!

Nothing that labels Rossi as anything but God makes sense to you so not surprised. But I will break it down for you.

Lorenzo was most likely going to go on and win championships for Yamaha for many years into the future as their lead rider because with no Stoner there is no rider including Rossi who is at the same level. Rossi, Ezpeleta and Rossi's fans will no way allow Rossi to be a number 2 rider. This will jeopardise Lorenzo relationship with Yamaha and therefore the likelihood of him staying with Yamaha and hence the reason I have predicted that Lorenzo will never sign with Yamaha again. When Lorenzo leaves and Rossi retires or goes to WSBK in 2015, Yamaha will be left without a WC rider. Lorenzo will go to Honda with Marquez and Honda will go on to win WC after WC. Rossi's legacy will be that he will leave Yamaha with no WC rider. He has virtually killed Ducati and he will inflict damage long term on Yamaha as well by making them lose Lorenzo.

Note: This is a FUTURE prediction and is 100% my opinion. No FACTS have been quoted in this post due to my lack of possession of a fully functioning time machine.

Well, if it is true, and Vale goes back to Yam with his tail between his legs. His status as the GOD he is supposed to be when developing a bike, or better yet, can ride a scooter faster than those on GP bikes, will be shot out the window. I am disappointed at his lack of effort. He surely doesn't seem to have that fire in his belly on the bike. ...., if Hayden is able to do what he is doing, you should think Vale would be light years beyond that right? Guess not.

@Mental, give your mind a rest and stop doing these future predictions every day. I don't think factories look beyond 2 years other wise they will be offering 4 or 5 years contracts to riders.

the only one jacking off as usual is you.........though as expected from boners the sooking at this is immense. My only hope is that people like yourself will find another sport and its champion to denigrate, and soon.

The M1 has received a lot of updates but its DNA is essentially the same since Rossi, Burgess and Masao developed it into the best handling package on the grid in 2004/2005. Jorge inherited it in 2008 and was instantly competitive, there is no reason as to why any number of younger riders won't come through and do the same, Yamaha's future is still looking very bright.

How is it that Ezy has perpetrated the Yamaha deal? Do you feel that Rossi doesn't have the credentials to get a factory Yamaha? How is it that all of the top Manufacturers have offered Rossi a deal? just because Ezy told them too?

Why don't you have such strong feelings as to the race indiscretions that we are currently seeing (that actually exist) from one Casey Stoner, particularly at Mugello that are being overlooked?

And why don't you have such strong feelings as to the signing of Marquez to the factory Honda team, in what is the biggest show of favoritism for a particular rider (why rules being removed!) since Pedders and Bridgestone in 2008?

Piece of advice for you, you don't have to watch Motogp anymore

Another ofyour bopper "facts" I see ...... ergo ...... its complete lie.

Honda didn't, not with their factory team.

Yamaha have offered Rossi $3-4 Mil. ....... not really a serious deal compared to other riders ........ thats why folk are saying its been forced on Yam.

Ihowever would not say its been forced on Yam. at that rate of pay. I would more say Yam. know they can get him cheap, so are thinking "why not". Ezzy pimping for a ride for Rossi, has dropped his value immensely, because he showed Rossi's hand ...... Yam. knows Rossi is desperate to get away from Duc..

Is this fact?

from what I've read Rossi is bringing a major sponsor in either Phillip Morris or Monster to the Factory Yamaha team, something which they haven't managed to secure since he left. Rossi will still be the highest paid rider in the sport, how is this cheap? How is this not a serious deal? How is this being forced on Yamaha? they have Jorge already......and could choose Dovi or Cal........?

Nakomato stated that Honda would supply Rossi with a Factory bike in his own team, as with Sic / Gresini last season. And Ducati has offered him another 2 year deal.........choice of all factory bikes in Motogp........

Well, wasn't it a bit funny how Ezy already had the "news" and was being a bit coy about the entire thing as though all is good? It may be something he just said but let's be honest. Ezy and the rest of his gang totally ...... GP. It isn't what it should be and now it is worse than what we hoped. CRT's are total .... bikes and shouldn't be in GP at all. The whole thing with Ducati is sad cause they did throw a lot of money at the project, and changed their DNA with the chassis to keep rossi happy. If he goes to Yam, I lost some respect for the dude cause he couldn't do what he was hyped to do. I wonder what the guy would do back on the Yam though. He may be no better at all really. He could be worse as well. You know that Jorge will leave Yam if Vale starts kicking his ..., so don't you think Yam wants to keep him around for a few more years? Well, I am sure GP is pretty much on its last legs anyway?

You can try and add all the beer/lunch/tuck shop money you like but YAMAHA have not offerred Rossi what you dream they have.

Though I suspect you folk would still worship Rossi if he stood there with $15M worth of ciggy's piled around him .......... and no bike ........

I can see your point regarding Rossi not getting the job done with Ducati but to be fair one have to be realistic, every one can see things are not working for both parties and best solution for both to part their ways now and take the blame 50/50 for the failure.

All he said was that Rossi will be on a competitive bike next season, which was certainly a big slap in the face to Ducati and not wise I agree. Yes they have screwed the sport, mainly due to Honda though, lets not forget that. Rossi was hyped to fix the Ducati, buts lets face it, the only major change was the twin spar, and so far they've only provided one version since January, whilst the others are forging ahead )brand new RCV mid-season??), the rider can only do so much in this instance, and if the bike doesn't change-especially in this day and age of sole tyres, GPS-TC etc. then what are we expecting? From what I can deduce, if Rossi and Burgess are providing feedback, whether it be right or wrong-then the feedback is either being not being listened to, or being listened to and not acted upon for whatever reason.....I guess there is no way of really knowing, but after reading Burgess's comments, i'd say its not being acted upon.

Of course blame needs to be applied both ways, but if Burgess had said, 'yes we've received ten chassis updates and a new motor and so on, but we still aren't competitive' then you could blame Rossi-almost completely. Rossi and Burgess are also used to the Japanese way of doing things, which is essentially evolving throughout the season, Ducati obviously doesn't know how to do this effectively yet, hence the divorce is probably best for all.
