Rossi can pick up Stoner's old crew on the way over to Yamaha...
Better if Ducati does that... and quick.
Rossi can pick up Stoner's old crew on the way over to Yamaha...
It seems there are now 3 offers on Rossi's desk:
1. Ducati (12 million euros, plenty of room for his personal sponsors, team expenses fully paid by Ducati including 1st class flights);
2. Yamaha (3-4 millions, some limitations and requests regarding the sponsors, team expenses to be paid by VR46);
3. Honda (no money, factory bike in a satellite team, freedom to bring in all his personal sponsors, team expenses fully on VR46).
Now... which one would you choose?

It is quite clear that neither Honda or Yamaha want Rossi. It is equally clear that Yamaha's hand is being forced by a higher power to take on Rossi so that the circus can go back to having its lead clown in the centre ring. If he does go back to Yamaha I hope he has a Spies 2012 like season to prove once and for all that Karma really is a .....!
When are you expecting yours?Karma really is a .....!

Do you wonder why I get annoyed at your posts?
While the first part of your post may be true (but you have written it as though it absolutely is), would you like his family to die as well to make surr he is unhappy? Would you appreciate a thousand vindictive posts about Stoner? It's hard to rise above it with people like you.
Stay with Ducati, if Yamaha is treating him like that at this stage (the money fair enough, the team not so) what would it be like to be in that team? Test mule for Lorenzo?
I believe that at Ducati he has a chance to turn it around. Honda is a non-starter, he would be starting with one arm tied behind his back there too.
Of course the caveat is that I think all the rumours are bollocks.
No, because your opinion means nothing to me.
I would say that from Yamaha and Honda's bids, if they are true, would be very clearly stating that they do not want Rossi in their teams. He is currently getting paid 15mill and they are offering him a fraction with none of the extras. If they wanted him then they would offer what is the market rate or better.
Why would I want his family dead? If you are referring to my hope he has a Spies like season and somehow coming up with dead family then yeah that is close?????
I do hope if he goes to Yamaha he has all the bad luck in the world. Do I hope he gets injured, which I assume you are suggesting? Of course not. When someone wishes for fairing bashing and hard passing are they suggesting they want riders to get injured? Of course not, but when that type of racing happens people crash.
If you are waiting for me to wish Rossi well and pray to god that he wins again then pull up a chair because you are going to be waiting till the end of time. He doesn't need me to wish him well because he already has Ezpeleta doing what ever is possible with out regard for impartiality to ensure the clown wins again. You and your like think that that is Rossi's God given right and that there is nothing wrong with it because he brings fans and money. Well I disagree strongly and always will. My sincere wish is for Rossi to retire with his failure at Ducati burning in his memory for the rest of his days. Similar to all those others who never got a fair shot in the contrived world of MotoVR.
Oh, and only a thousand vindictive posts about Stoner would have been quite refreshing rather than the 6 years of constant slander that has been delivered to date.
It's hard to rise above it with people like you.
I hope karma comes to you. You really are an arrogant tool.
Apparantly, it is.

There are plenty of people who I disagree with on here but don't feel the urge to ... a rusty nail through their eye. I think I need to find that ignore button.
Ah, the mental anarchy is truly your forte sir. Reasoned thought + totally biased speculation = Mental AnarchistIt is quite clear that neither Honda or Yamaha want Rossi. As others have said, the no. 2 factory yamaha bike seems to be having basic mechanical failures this year which doesn't inspire confidence, and not having his own team working on it would not increase confidence. I agree a theoretically "full factory" satellite honda would likely be less equal than those provided for 2 spanish repsol honda team riders as others have said.
Still I would think more chance of being truly competitive for yamaha, a greater achievement to turn ducati around. I imagine audi would be quite motivated to make sure their newly purchased prestige motor bike brand was not permanently associated with not giving valentino what he needed.

Just thought I would remind everyone of the response you directed at me after I made this rather innocuous post that was not even referring to YOU in the first place..........

It is this sort of abuse that is the very reason I dont bother contributing at all on here these days....
