Why is Caiprossi just in front of Hofmann? Hofmeister has a broken hand for ..... sake! Not to mention he's a second down on Stoner. Nice choice Kawi.

Do you think Melandri's renewed effort is down to silly season starting early and a fear that he may miss out on a good ride? I am sure his bike hasn't improved. Has his manager informed him that it is hard to negotiate when he is languishing at the bottom?

Its more he's signed for Ducati at a significant discount and now he needs the Gresini 'win, place or show' bonus to kick in and make up the difference before next year.

With friends like that who needs enemies???
Broken fourth metacarpal on the right hand. Had surgery to fix it. Seems he's got some screws and a plate in. Poor Alex

Nah. They're both nice guys. If Lorenzo were in motogp already my money would've been on him

Actually, Vale probably gave Uccio a meaningful look, put on his best Mafia voice and asked him to 'take care of' that pesky Ducati rider. And Uccio just got it wrong..

Son....but THE #’S means that there all great riders except for the ones that are making up the #’s U Know 1st/2nd/3rd/etc etc...

U know Son this is what they said about Mick!!! When he was winning gp’s left right and centre...they said he was hopeless, this won’t LAST, he wasn’t the quickest , best etc etc...

But what they didn’t realise is this: That Mick wanted to WIN, he had the aussie mongrel in him and he wanted to be the greatest aussie rider EVER!!! (and a specially to beat Gardner's records!!! As he didn’t have a very great experience with Wayne!!..but that is another story!!!)

He also wanted to be the GREATEST and he became our HERO!!!...IT TAKES MORE THAN JUST SPONSERSHIP TO BE A GREAT RIDER!!!...and Casey is a perfect example of THAT!!!

Casey HAS THE SAME DETERMINATIN AS MICK AND I’LL EVEN GO AS FAR AS SAYING THAT HE HAS MORE TALENT!!!...

I love motoGP and aspecially the guys that GIVE IT ALL TO BECOME THE BEST AND HAVE THE GUTS AND TALENT TO ACHIVE THAT GOAL!!!...

Perfect examples are...you pick your hearo!!!(s) world champ(s) but my favourite has to be the GREAT AND LATE BARRY SHHEN!!! HE WAS, WILL AND ALWAYS WILL BE IN MY HEART AS THE ONE THAT HAS CHANGED ATTITUDES TOWARDS M/CYCLE RACING!!!...Goodonyahh Barry "WE LOVE YOU AND MISSSS YOU SO MUCH MATE!!! YOURE A LEGEND!!!!

What a funny thread.

Israeliracer: You are a profit.
Pete: haha, you forgot about West healing the sick and blind at lunch.
Aussie fans: You got something to cheer about and maybe it will continue until the race.

Its practice right?

Rossi vs Hayden 06 Bla bla bla
Rossi vs Stoner 07 Bla bla bla

What does that say about Rossi? He's the man to beat! Good luck to both of them and the rest of the grid, especially Hayden (I'm a fan). I'm hoping for an exciting race, best man win.

Continue ladies and gentlemen, I'm having a a great laugh. I love this forum.

Go Hayden!

This is a pretty crazy practice thread. Can't wait for the responses to FP3 and Qualifying

Nothing out of the usual here except maybe Guintolli. Did he use Q-tires? Looks like that to me. First two laps, second slower than the first, then 1 lap to make 4th so far, more than a second faster than earlier in the session.

Pedrosa strugles with only one fast lap, melandri and Checa both have a better pace so far, very steady mid 23s, but then Pedrosa seems to be even slower than Rossi at finding his setup.

I think we're getting that......

IsraeliRacer..Thanks Mate & Shalom...I hope everyone realises that Barry Sheen really had to overcome great odds!!!

What with G. Agostini who was the legend in those days, similar to V. Rossi today.....and the contest was vey similar to what Mr. C. Stoner is experiencing today!!! But barry had a vey bad crash at Suzuka where his tyre exploded at 280k’s on the sloping track, he nearly broke every bone in his body (the docs didn't expect him to live) and even the great Agostini was shocked, concerned about Barry that he came to visit him in hospital..and after all that when Barry got better!...what did he do?...

He got straight into racing again...after a while he had a nasty incident at Assen in 1976???...what happened to him?...he came off and broke a few more bones in his body...if I’m not wrong...Wayne Gardner was the rider that rode over him...

So..I ASK YOU how many riders would still be riding after what happend to Barry???...ZILTS...ZERO!!!

Barry was A LEGEND!!! HE GAVE Everything TO THE GP, he was also was such a witty, funny, no nonsense guy, commentator (we know this here in Australia as he commentated the GP’s for years) and called a spade a spade!! I loved his reality, his precision on every aspect of gp racing and foremost his great will to pick riders for their talent...perfect example is Mr. Casey Stoner, Garry McCoy etc etc ...may I say MORE!!!

Thank you for listening!!!
