We went with Pole Position travel, and went VIP which( outside of Europe) gets you free paddock access,.......
Sounds great. Thanks for the information. We did a package for Misano through a very small company that also does F1. They didn't have pit passes, but they had good rooms, good seats, and good transportation to the track. Rossi land is a blast, unless you REALLY hate him. :p

I get the feeling Vinales is not much of a talker and would prefer to just go out there and ride. Whether it's a language barrier thing or not, I do not know. But either way it's irrelevant to me. Not into cult of personality ...., and if this is who he is, fine by me.

yes, race fast and no side show bob crap.

Imagine any of the 500cc riders of the 80/90's coming covered in cartoons and clown wigs.

Gonna go out on a limb and predict

1. Pedrosa
2.vin
3.dovi
4.rossi

Marquez, crutchlow dnf
Lorenzo still ....... around

Although I'm certainly biased in his direction, he was running strong before crashing last year, missed the year before, and second twice in a row the two years before. It's hot in Texas and typically does well in the heat, and actually looked better in both Qatar and Argentina than he ever has.

Marquez tries too hard, crutchlow has a biological need to back up strong results with dnfs

Actually, I think MM may have a run off the track and wind up around 10th.

Then he'll do like Eli Tomac and win 8 straight. :)

MM aint the favorite anymore....MV just destroyed the field....

Rossi and JLo were on softies to get their times, so they are in trouble...

Wow rossi must be pissed off. MV and MM are all buddy buddy and close at the top of the time sheets, rossi is way back ........ and Lorenzo pips him on a Duc!

Interested for FP2 the Hondas ran the medium and not the hard as they usually do.

Are you in some weird time zone? They haven't run FP2, yet.

After watching Roberts Jr. with Sr. get the Legends award, I am softening on who gets in. Junior looks like a giant compared to most riders. I remember him saying that he gave up on the KR bike because he thought he was too big for the 800s.

A lot of complaining about the bumps at COTA. Man, these guys are use to some smooth surfaces, aren't they?

I meant looking forward to fp2 because none of the Hondas ran the hard option like they normally do.

The auto racing damages the track surface due to the heavy braking...Silverstone has become very unfriendly for the bikes over time with the ripples in the pavement. No surprise COTA has become so bumpy given how heavy some of those braking zones are for F1 cars as well as IMSA and WEC.

Bikes and F1 cars shouldn't share circuits , the cars literally push the tarmac towards the corner creating those ripples.
Now that Sepang has got rid of F1 the circuit should improve in some corner entries.
Didn't the GP bikes do it at Laguna one year though?

It's difficult to not share circuits in some countries unfortunately. Tracks have to meet all of the safety standards required by both the FIA and FIM, and it's easier for the FIM to piggyback on FIA Grade 1 approved circuits.

Sepang still has one more F1 race in October before that is over and done with thankfully. With the repaving of the circuit last year, it should be okay for the bikes when they show up a couple of weeks later.

There hasn't been complaining in the past. I am surprised COTA has gotten that much worse in a year, except in one. There, I could see a problem developing, much more than the other corners at the end of the straights, where it's a longer distance to scrub speed, and less damaging to the circuit.

Laguna has historic cars every year and Le Mans cars. The heavy Mustangs and such do more damage than open-wheelers. The biggest complaints at Laguna are entry into 5 and exit on 8 (corkscrew). Eleven, which is actually the slowest corner, doesn't get as many complaints. You can avoid the worst bumps in 5, unless you are Pedrosa, who complained about that corner a lot, or you want to pass on the inside.

I'd imagine that anyone would try the softs earlier on as I can't ever see them being sufficient to last a full race.

If its dry I bet rossi will be like MM run hard front, medium rear in the race. Maybe even see Vinales try that combo.

I'm hoping Zarco will be the dark horse again in the 1st 6 places. :)

The only track that they share which I'd keep is Catalunya, it has been the scene of some good races.
Donington should be the British GP.
The Italian rounds don't share apart from testing I think.
Which other tracks do both?
