Well in fairness, it's more due to the fact that the ever myopic Dorna awarded a Grand Prix to a circuit that only existed as a CAD drawing and the owners/backers were contractually obliged to deliver. Imagine if the only venue they could find had been Knockhill.

That kind of Rossi bloviating has been moved to Crash.net.

Here, we generally stick to conspiracy and throwing .... at one another. I prefer it here. I'm a documented Rossi skeptic. That being said, there's no replacement for experience and race craft . Rossi deploys both simultaneously to best more naturally skilled competitors and deserves his victory. He'll need a monsoon to win the championship however. I still think in the dry, JL climbs to the top step of the podium enough to secure the trophy this year.

No matter what, it'll be very entertaining and whoever wins is certainly worthy and deserving.

Disagree mate, the man has led the championship all season and hardly needs a monsoon to beat what is a very inconsistent Jorge-how many rounds are there coming up where they've allocated Jorge's special heat resistant treatment rubber? And will the track temps allow him to use his preferred medium compound across race distance? I think Jorge's success depends largely on all factors (including his mental state and having no one get in front of him during the race) combining perfectly for him to dominate, something which has happened for him on five occasions this season-and when it hasn't, he's generally off the podium.

I'd say that Misano, PI, Japan and Sepang will offer up solid variables in track temp and conditions. Aragon will be Hondaland, and Valencia is anyone's guess.

As our good friend Johnn, sorry, Moto chi…I mean, Super Manatee is so fond of reminding us, it’s been almost a decade since we've had a satellite victory.

Jums texted me fm Indy a photo of him chowing with Tony Elias. I had to sit down when he told me. The repurcussions of this meeting could potentially spin the earth off axis. The catalyst who unearthed the greatest farce in world history was going to meet and possible divulge GP's darkest secret to the Erin Brokovich of GP. This was like being inside the room during
Cheneys undocumented energy policy meeting, or on set of the fake lunar landing.
I commented to the Mexican Mumkie that I was surprised Elias was still alive and noone had assasinated him yet.

In our previous race thread someone had mentioned that Rossi ought to study what Nicky Hayden did in 2006 to win the title.
I almost replied," Whos going to be his Tony Elias?"
I ended up not replying because much like Winston Smith,I have been beaten down by the Dornaistry of Love, that tells me, Ignorance is truth, Ordinary is Alien, Excellence is Failure. Its pointless to think that Elias's feat could ever happen, as long as extra terrestrials inhabit the grid.
Petruccis ride was inspiring and for a few moments I actually had hope but very quickly the perpetual status quo was restored

I was thinking the other day how I'm wondering if Rossi and dorna are trolling us all. What if they planned this whole thing? Cause VR is the king of ....... with people, so what makes you think he isn't purposefully putting himself in the position he is in? He's on the edge of winning the championship & losing it. He is almost too calm & collected.

It's a mind .... man.

But I think Rossi is gonna win. ....... fairytale ending. And I'm going to laugh, and think how this whole season was probably an amazing joke.

I mean, I'm most likely being psycho...but it's a hilarious thought.

At least to me.

Whilst I'm not the tinfoil hat type, there have been some interesting inconsistencies this season with Rossi-particularly around FP. In Brno, he set very good times with the harder option tyre in FP4-and didn't seem to repeat this in the race-temperature could have played a part.
At Silverstone in the dry, he was consistently within 1-2 tenths in the first two splits and then lost 7-8 tenths in the last, could have been the setting. At Indy Pedrosa was amazed and said Rossi improved by 6-7 tenths in the race which was normally unheard of.
At Le Mans he was nowhere in FP-QP then comes out with the fastest lap of the race, and sits in behind Jorge - similar to Catalunya-could have been the Fuel Management systems.
Argentina he was so much faster than all of them on the extra hard it was embarrassing, happened to have his Maradona jersey handy there.

He has been accused of playing with the competition in the past for the spectacle, perhaps this is his biggest show yet.....

If this .... was a movie it would totally be inception. Good .... talps. I thought he's always done things like this. But still cool to see the numbers.

Jesus, two great posts in a row. Surely there will be a catastrophe tomorrow just to keep the universe in balance.

Wait, I thought I was biased in favor of Marc?

...., I can't keep up with whose fanboi I'm supposed to be any more.

Hey Krops, welcome home buddy!

Stick around man. I'll be on my best behavior. Pinky promise. Nah really man, try to suffer us for a while. Missed u at Indy. I even brought an olive branch.

Welcome back Krop! Yeah Jumkie behave this time, you still owe me a beer for spoiling the result of PI 2009 so you better not add to that! ;)

And Stuper Mankini.

I hope Krops doesn't have me on ignore, as I would like to post something I think we can all agree on, HJC hell-mets are .......

I think thats the end of the non-controversial part of his take though.

...and now for the blatant fanboyism:

Jesus Kropo, did you give Petrucci a kiss? You're such a Petrucci fanboy. Why don't you just start your own Damnielo Petruggi fanclub already.

I've rated Petrucci for a while too, and wasn't surprised by his performances this year. If he carries on like that in 2016 I can see him on a factory Ducati or better for 2017.

What DID piss me off though, was I replaced him in my fantasy league with Smith a few days before the race. Maaaan was I pissed.

Why the .... would I want to hang around here and suffer you lot flinging .... at me and calling me a ..........? I can get that kind of abuse anywhere.

What's with all of the circle jerking and occasional ... ....... about Marc here? Did anyone see who won the race? Who gives a .... about Marc anymore he's out of it through his own .... ups due to the Yamaha catching up this season and now for the first time he's facing proper rivals.
I'm amazed jums, haven't you seen Kropos write up and it's horrendous Lorenzo bias? He's been absolutely slammed in the comments section, and now he's closed the thread! ....... hilarious

Fan mail I received for an earlier post:

Ok Emmett, the way you write about Marquez makes me think you'd like to .... him in the ..., since you have such a hard-on for kid.

"The Honda RC213V was too aggressive an engine to be tamed by electronics, the chassis too stiff to contain the stampede of horsepower contained in the 90° V4. The bike span, wheelied, and worst of all, slid the rear wheel unpredictably when it touched down ready for braking into the corner" - seriously are you ....... kidding me? You make me want to puke. The Ducati's are blowing away the Hondas down the straights, meaning they are the most powerful bike in MotoGP not the ....... Hondas.

"Márquez was trying, but perhaps a little too hard, riding every lap as if it was his one shot at pole, overloading the front tire to compensate for the lack of braking at the rear.

Márquez was pushing his luck, and it kept running out during the race, the Repsol Honda man either finishing down the order, or ending up in the gravel once the front cried enough."

You're so ....... bias towards honda and ....... hrc, it makes me sick reading your ....... articles, you're such a prick. STOP FANTIISING SUCKING MARCS .....

.... YOU'RE GROSS.

Interestingly, having now watched the coverage, there was immediate speculation in the commentary box that harsh engine braking upon closing the throttle may have been the culprit, which even given the bizarre nature of the crash and the supposed enduring maladies of the Honda, was I thought a tad presumptuous. However, forum posts, speculation in the press, and Motomatters aside, I would love to be privy to the telemetry.

The ripples at Silverstone are indeed horrendous and to compound the problem next year the circuit is to see the return of truck racing, a sport so moronic that even Parrish is a multiple title holder. Obviously, heavy braking zones such as Copse, Vale, and Borooklands/Luffield are particularly bad and your theory that Marquez's extreme lean angle in combination with the rucked surface may well have caused the crash. I honestly think his crew were as bemused as he was though. Perhaps he saw what happened to Stoner when he had the temerity to blame a bump at Motegi so he went with braking as an excuse instead.

Standing water has always been an issue at Silverstone. When Marc went down the rain had yet to intensify but I did wonder at the time when I saw the crash relayed on the screen whether this was the cause. You only have to be inches off a previous line and it can chuck you off.

Interestingly on the subject of telemetry, Cal was doing no different to his previous laps when he crashed at Brno.

We'll never see the telemetry, but maybe there is something we can understand looking at when MM93's crash happened.

In fact he crashed when, after a few fast laps, Rossi visibly slowed down -- it seemed he wanted to let Marc in front, but MM93 didn't want to -- so he also had to slow down. The rear tire of his Honda of course cooled down a bit in the process, and maybe he lost that little bit of concentration. Then maybe engine braking or whatever did the rest, but as a secondary cause to a loss of tire temperature.

It's all a conjecture of course, but it's a possible explanation. When the tires have trouble staying at the proper temperature, slowing down can be more dangerous than going fast. It's a difficult balance, -- especially when your speed is dictated by the rider in front. Rossi managed to solve the wet setup equation best, as was apparent already during warmup, and so he won. Petrucci (also announced at warmup) was on the old Ducati that notoriously has a lot of rear traction (too much on the dry, but just perfect on the wet), he used that characteristic well, and arrived second.

Hey. You read my fan mail :)
That's hilarious. It sounds like the author was from here

Curt Schilling, a retired baseball pitcher recently posted a picture of his daughter on Twitter. He was congratulating her on her acceptance to college. People were commenting back how they would like to cum on her face, shag her in the arse and gangbang her. Schilling went nuclear and tried to hunt down twitter users. I think he actually found a few of the guys and outed them.

Trevor is hilarious. He was the leader of a sketch show called "The Whitest kids you know". Brilliant stuff

It is a profound distinction Krop, probably requiring considerable talent, to be simultaneously a fanboy of and biased against all 3 of Valentino, Jorge and MM and previously of similar status in regard to Stoner when he was racing.

The possibility that you might actually be fair-minded is perhaps worthy of some consideration.

Kropo, most of us here have been called worse. U cant take it seriously because it affects one unnecessarily. Honestly I've had PM sent to me that insulted all manner of ...., actually both disturbing and comical. No really, I got PMs comparing my opinions of GP to the 911 hijackers with pictures to boot. You gotta roll with it. As you know sport extracts unexplainable passion in people, and it drives us to say both stupid and wonderful things about the most trivial.

My answer to your question, why should you stick around, because we do talk about the sport we all have passion for and the diversity of opinion (right or wrong) is a good thing, the way we talk here is generally unfettered and allows us to exercise perspective if you put it in perspective, and because I honestly believe this forum will help you. Many appreciate you despite not agreeing eith your opinions, that is part of life.

Anyway, im texting from my phone, so its not a great case to stick around. Maybe members who are more articulate like Arrabi or Michael can present a reasonable case to stick around. I certainly hope you do. Join the fun.
