all i can say is... if i would have chucked a can of fosters at rossi he would have been hit & surly went down.

Actually I can offer up a reason...my eyes are exactly the same colour as Vale's and I never EVER leave the house without sunglasses, even when it's rainy or overcast. The light just kills me. There was a time when I was stupid enough not to have spares everywhere and two minutes in daylight would be enough to ensure a raging migraine. Apparently light eyes are, generally speaking, far more sensitive to light. My sister, who has same coloured eyes, is also the same. Vale also goes on about how he lives at night, which I do too. I'm far more comfortable with the hours of the day when the sun isn't up. Maybe he's just photosensitive.

I say we get them just for thinking about it!

Back in '83 when I took Keith Code's school to get my club racing license - Kieth was teaching folks to try and look forward but see periferally. He said it was a question of mentally expanding the way you see. I worked at it really hard and after a while - I didn't think about it anymore. Then one year I went to see an eye doctor for an exam and she did some tests and told me I'd become, so-to-speak, visually ambidextrous - which is to say I had learned how, when entering a left-hand turn, to scan beyond the apex with my left eye and while my right eye was independently scanning the pavement more directly ahead of the bike. I don't know if this is taught anymore - but wouldn't be surprised if Rossi is using this age-old technique.

Same happens to be. My eyes are a light shade of green, I get savage migraines. I'm not as sensitive to rainy or overcast conditions but as soon as the sun comes out I need my glasses. I always have a pair of sunglasses with me and 99% of the time I use a tinted visor. On long ride outs I will carry a clear visor with me just in case of heavy rain

Just as a matter of interest, the pregnant umbrella girl at the San Marino GP, where Rossi listens to her stomach on the starting grid, is said to be the wife of Uccio.
Any truth in that?
