Rossi to test GP12 at Jerez

With Nicky doing the final test I hope we still get some insider info on some times, even if they're not official. I'll be happy if he leaves the test with a big smile just like Rossi did during the last outing. With Duc getting outside help with the chassis I have a little bit of renewed hope.

Is it safe yet to make some light hearted jokes about swollen pinkies, shoulders and developing excuses?

Well Michael I would have bet my house (if I had one) on the fact that once Stoner began dominating on the Honda the chorus of whining would get louder and louder....now that he finally has the best tools at his disposal I believe much of this whining is due to fear about a Doohan style dominant era approaching.

Well suck it up or stop watching if you dont like the results.

There have been 3 different riders win in the last 3 years (IF Stoner bags the title this year).....yet here we are again back in 2007. He is only winning because of the bike and the races are boring....that was FAR more predicatble than the racing has been this year

PS I agree with Hawk that the MSMA have too much say in the rules and have never argued against such claims.

Just read today in RRW that there's a strong possibility that there will be a "rolling rulebook" which would make the MSMA really miserable. Since the Grand Prix Commission has a four man panel and it works on majority rule - it would be easy for them to over-rule the MSMA at will when it comes to making CRT teams more competitive.

I beg to differ. Been a fan for some time now. I think he's show much potential and lots of guts on Suzuki.

Is there any hope that whatever hayden develops he will ever get it on his bike? Yamaha and honda can get 2 3 or 4 riders competitive, ducati can't even get one near the front.

Every race is the same. Hayden starts out competitve and then they manage to engineer his bike down the order. To bad he's such a nice guy and doesn't tell it like it is. He's getting screwed.

You thinking of Bautista Kesh?

Oops! That what I get for trying to read and type while simultaneously processing orders for customers with the phone ringing in my ear.

At least I don't do it while driving.

Barbera.... didn't like him when riding the 250s. Seems "relatively" reformed since those days but on the Duc he's doomed to be

a non-entity.

All of the former non-champ 250 guys are the same, nobody notices them.

Don't know about anyone else, but I'm sorely disappointed in Ayoama. He was such a feisty little dude on the 250s

but it seems like he's peaked.

Did you catch Crutchlows comments about the Aragon race?

I can't remember where it was but.

Comentator. Cal what was the best part of that race?

Cal. passing Barbera!

Com, Why's that?

Pissed my pants at that

I read on another bike forum someone saying that Hayden had gone under the times set by Stoner on the 1000cc Honda at Jerez earlier in the year with the new GP12 + Alloy chassis.

Anyone know of any times or legitimate sources of info on this? I must admit I am skeptical but it would be very encouraging if true.....

I'd be a bit skeptical mate. There are no sources that have been offered.

I haven't read or seen any quotes from the test, must not have gone well, or the press just didn't follow since it wasn't Rossi?

I am completely skeptical due to the fact the guy posting this info is generally full of .... and I also havent been able to source any information on this test through my own searches.

I very much doubt it has any validity but I could be wrong.

On his twitter he said everything went smooth and Ducati committed. Nicky stop towing the company line for 2 secs and tell us more lol
