You burn me for putting Rossi on a pedestal, but you guys spew out so much hate and venom that I honestly think you need an appointment on a leather couch.

I will take this slowly since you appear to have problems with both comprehension and the notion of causality.

You posted that you had been entertaining yourself by making fools of the members of the forum. I replied that you had been entertaining the members of the forum by making a fool of yourself, to which you made a further reply to the effect you had tried to be nice to me, presumably implying that I was resisting said approach.

It was you who brought up foolishness, fool. Comprenez-vous?

If you had argued your corner with any semblance of logic or wit you would have been accorded respect. It was in fact you who immediately resorted to argumentum ad hominem including cod psychology and asserted your intellectual and moral superiority when people who you already knew disagreed with you, disagreed with you. I don't care about trolling nor do I care to label anyone a troll but by the commonly agreed definition any trolling involved in your interactions on the forum has not been unilateral by any assessment.

You have problems with your massive ego. I've never come across anything like it. You also clearly love to read your own words in print.

What I said about some members of the forum was only after an attack of epic proportions was launched against me. At that point, I realized I was in a lion's den filled with Rossi haters and LorenzoBoppers.

Do you comprehend that? I doubt it. Best of luck with your therapy sessions.
 
I'd be nice if we had a "your dense" button similar to the "like" button.
I think it would help to cut down on the garbage.

One wonders if these 'egomaniacal responses from people' and the 'cleverly disguised trolls' may be people who harbour different opinions to yourself where the (not all but most) would be people agreeing with your thoughts?

My massive ego isn't actually problematic for me. If it is for you, you have my sympathy.

Once again you present no arguments and have posted nothing except argumentum ad hominem. When people have attempted to discuss things with you such as your contentions about Rossi's prime you have not answered them and merely repeated your assertions and proclaimed your superior knowledge about brain stem physiology, although you now appear to be desisting from that particular position.

I will confess to being annoyed slightly by you, provoking the recent posts. From my point of view you constantly do exactly the same as you complain about others doing, but apparently such actions are entirely different when you are the one doing them, which is what annoys me, both specifically and in general.

I give you some credit for taking on so many people on your own, but that was your choice as I said, and you need to present better arguments imo if you have decided to pursue that course, and you have never shown any interest in anyone's counter arguments yourself. Basically all you have ever done is assert that you are right and that others are wrong, and have shown absolutely no interest in what reasons others have for their opinions.

This is where I disagree with you. I have considered the arguments of others, and said that I agree with some of them. I just don't agree with all of them, specifically that Rossi punted Marc off the bike. I'll even bite on the theory that Rossi was "put in place" because of his popularity. Still, I think he's an amazing racer regardless.

The other thing that bother me, is the hatred many of you express towards Rossi. The one thing you can't say is that I spewed crazy hatred toward Rossi's competitors. Yes, I don't care for Lorenzo but have acknowledged his racing abilities.

I don't hate anyone I don't know, and not really anyone I do know, with the possible exception of the Australian politician Tony Abbott.

I still respect Rossi's achievements, and had no real animus against him at all prior to that Sepang 2015 press conference, while going for Lorenzo to win last year, and Stoner and Nicky Hayden in previous seasons. However I found his behaviour at the end of last season manipulative in the extreme and despicable, and to provide good evidence for some of the contentions against him on this forum.

Why should that be of any concern to you Talps? er...I mean tps. It's the internet - you'll encounter similar levels of 'virtual' online hatred and prejudice over issues far more significant than motorcycle racing.

I've yet to see this 'hatred' manifest itself at a race circuit. Surely you should be more concerned about the thousands of fanatics that have taken to cheering fallen riders?
