That doesn't sound good, but laptimes at the test will tell us the reality of it.

I could be remembering this all wrong, so if anyone knows please put me straight, but i thought James Toseland said that when he moved from supers to MotoGP that you needed more strength to move a WSB than a MotoGP one so he didn't need to do some much work to bulk up and was concentrating on being leaner. If i have recalled that correctly, maybe his performance on WSB is a worst case scenario....

That could have been the case with Yamaha, in fact I think I recall Spies saying something similiiar....but the Ducati is a different beast alltogether, just from Rossi's comments at Valencia it requires a bit more input thru the bars than the Yammy.

His results in MotoGP show that he may have got it all wrong...

Good point. I hadn't accounted for that!

As we have seen with Fogarty's injury (shoulder was it ?)

and after watching a bit about Connor Cummins Arm/Shoulder injury from the TT he might recover physically but looking at his movement in his left Arm/Shoulder

after nerve tendon damage etc I'd say he might ride a bike ok again but he wont "RACE" again

Rossi this has been dragging on a while now IS the injury actually worse than anyone is letting on ?

I've got a feeling Rossi won't be the Rossi we all know any more and the Injury might be career ending

I'd prefer to be a bit more optimistic & hope the damage is not long lasting. I'm quite prepared for him to be a bit behind for a few races, as long as things start showing promise and I'm once more screaming at the TV again.

Sorry to go off topic but is Connor not coming back?

He said he wants to ride but looking at his Injuries they will heal eventually

the Arm is another problem you can see it he's got no mobility in the arm

and the physio aint going to get him back racing imo

TT Crash

Fractured pelvis

5 vertebrae broke

Arm broke in 4 places & nerve ligament damage means he cant stretch out his hand (claw hand)

his Left Knee major damage after it was shoved up his thigh

broke back

lung damage

Guy Martin is a VERY lucky man

Checca gave an interesting interview recently regarding the SBK 1198 -vs- the GP10. He said the GP10 was VERY difficult to turn and that the bike required far more effort to ride than his SBK bike. I think this is a Ducati issue in particular. I suspect the Japanese bikes do not suffer this fate. I'll try to find you a link. I think it was in RoadRacingWorld....not sure

All riders deal with injury. Rossi's been very lucky in this department. I think its just the level of competition and Yamaha willing to support his teammate fairly equally. If anything, this has been the "injury" to his dominance. And now as a consequence of his unwillingness to accept what is simply a fair arrangement, his sulking lead him to Ducati. Now he must deal with having to ride a bike that is not the best...yet. But you can convince yourself its a physical injury, as I can see, you've pretty much already done so.

What a beautiful bike that is, would be great to see the motogp bike look a little more like the 1198........

The MotoGP bike cannot be all red because of Marlboro wanting a good percentage of white as well. The new Ferrari also now has more white along with the usual red
