Yet same situation has occurred during Rossis' career, but they fail to take note of this.

I don't think anyone, rossi fan or otherwise would argue that the Rc211v wasn't the greatest bike ever but like casey on the 07 duc he still had to ride it.

At that time switching to the 990 was an unknown entity. In fact you could argue rossi and Toru were parts testing mules

There was also some safety issues in that the 990's were crashing where 500 crashes were unheard of. This was part of the reason Suzuka was dropped.

Max Biaggi argued that rossi only won because he was on the honda yet he was left with egg on his face when rossi went to yam and max went to honda (basically swapped bikes)

Pretty same situation when Rossi andthe Boppes were slagging of Stoner on the Duc. ...... and look at the egg on the face there!!

no wonder some were saying Rossi is becoming the new Biaggi.

I realised today, after attempting to read crashnet due to a momentary lapse of reason, that I am over all this barry. Crashnet is as bad as ever, except now with a preponderance of ridiculous anti-rossi stuff instead of the previous ridiculous anti-stoner stuff.

Besides, from what I saw of the format of the "commenting" on Crash it does not really promote discussion ..... just one off comments so it gets rife with posts of little or no topic discussion or substance to the posts. Its a different beast with that type of "commenting".

Wow you guys are a touchy bunch, i made the comment when a self confessed rossi fan stated stoner only ever won a championship because of the bike. So i provided an example of the situation they described using rossi instead of stoner, i never said rossi couldn't ride, stoners better etc etc

I think you will find i dont go out of my way to bash on rossi or his fans. But if you want to read it that way feel free too

Rossi on a Ducati, WHne will they win? Maybe in 2012 Maybe??? Because the Honda's and the Yamaha's wont be standing still with the 1000's development, Rossi has to pull his finger out like he's trying at Valencia and ride the Duke with more balls and push it to the limit otherwise the 2012 results will be the same as the 2011 for Ducati and Rossi, the Ducati needs a "Man On A Horse" to ride it Not "A Monkey on A Stick" BaBahhhMMM!!!!
