Primacy Motoraad GP Deutschland Predictions & Race

Marquez is amazing.

Lorenzo..what happened? Tires, looks like he used them up early and just kept going wide.

I still hold out hope that one race, Rossi will get a win!

Rossi rode a really good race and certainly had the field bar MM covered. I doubt MM goes the whole remainder of the season without a DNF, particularly if he clinches the title with races to spare, and perhaps will give Rossi a chance on a Yamaha track, but his performance today was controlled and clinical and he has been provided with plenty of motivation not to let Rossi finish ahead of him.

Dovi is looking like he only had that one exceptional season in him. Vinales again has good ultimate pace but can’t seem to ride around early race problems

I've been one of the guys on here who has said Jorge will adapt to the Honda just find but I have to say. I think I was wrong when I said that, Ducati and Yamaha are clearly a better package at this stage and the difference is Marc Marquez. It's not just Dani struggling which may or may not be because of the tyres but everyone else on a Honda is struggling.

5/9 races this year and it could've easily been 6 when the rules are supposed to prevent this kind of domination all while on a bike nobody else seems to be able to do a whole lot on including a brilliant rider like Pedrosa.

The fastest Honda today in what has previously been a Honda circuit was 8th with 4 Ducati's and 2 Yamahas between the repsol bikes. I don't think either Rossi or Vinales could do .... on the current Honda nor the Honda from '15-now because others who have had similar results as them through the years ie Crutchlow and Pedrosa are really struggling.

I went to watch this race. Mostly because this might be the last race at Sachsenring.
Rode a bike up there in leathers too.

It’s a fantastic track for viewers, almost every spot gives a wide, expansive view. Almost 90% of the people showed up in Rossi gear. Deal with it.

I sat in the Rossi grandstand. Deal with it too. Not one person there booed Marquez or anyone else. So if you heard any boos (Or if you think you heard any), it might just be in your head or it might be people who actually think he’s a little .....

Well he might be, but he rode an incredible race today and so did Rossi. Money well spent.

Marquez had a solid margin, as he has all season. He pulled the pin when needed.

Bautista was impressive, Lorenzo reverted to his Ducati mean.

Rossi was strong. He's clearly best of the rest, but the gap to Marquez is big. Yamaha need another step.

I think the main equalisation measure that has had any effect has been the tire lottery, and as JPS has said all along that only worked for so long in F1. MM is too adaptable if he rides judiciously, and the only other rider of quality adaptable to a reasonably broad range of tires is both 14 years older and has similar tire preferences to MM.

What they probably need more is for Rossi to go back to being 25 years old,

Yeah, you are representing a Rossi fan pretty well. Crass, vulgar, and a poor loser, while pretending to be a race fan. This does not surprise me. I have seen it for many years from Rossi fans. What is surprising is that you got a like from "libby", a woman who I tried to respect as a lady. Apparently, I was mistaken. But, I suppose even some classless, .....-envy jackasses have dumb girlfriends.

Cry a bit louder.
I can’t quite hear you .

P.S. give me all you got, but lay off Libby.
You’d have a wired in jaw if you said that in my physical vicinity.

Libby is close to being the most genuine person on here, and I suspect was endorsing the praise of the quality of Rossi’s and MM’s riding.

I agree as I suspect did Libby that both MM and Rossi rode great races, which would have been even better to see at the track. Even though he prefers a hard tire MM has a Rossi-like ability to preserve a soft tire if he applies himself, as he did in that wet race last year.

I would have no problem with a stand full of Willairot fans booing MM, btw. I am not sure a stand full of Rossi fans has quite the same justification.

Very enjoyable race! Congratulations to Marc, another great performance. Valentino did the best he could with that bike and had a very solid race, but Yamaha still lacks speed. I’m also very glad to see Vinales on the podium again.

Racism is good. Rossi fans are not and Libby is a terrible person.
This is the position the racist irredeemable deplorable position Pony takes.
No worries Pony. Your in good company here. I bet Povol invites you over for a BBQ and Michael M puts me on ignore for calling your ........ out.

There was a bit of tire preservation to start off with. By all accounts no one was really sure what the rubber would be like after about 20 or so laps. I think this was evident by Marc going easy(ish) but once he saw that Vale had closed him down to 0.6s then he decided there was enough rubber left underneath him to push.
Obviously Marc was untouchable, but that should not detract from Vale who rode a fantastic race and is showing incredible consistency.

I also think that Bautista looked great. He has been top 10 in his last 3 or 4 races and he said that the team had found the problem that was clearly hampering his early season.
I hope he can stay in the paddock, his last few races are much more indicative of his abilities.
But that mustache is horrific.

Stop hating on Libby! Shes the second most genuine person here apart from me!

Yeah rossi is not good. Except he was this race .... best one since Argentina a few years back.

Libby is not even as race! Whats that all about?

Lay off the chicken fella ..... its got too much added oestrogen for blokes!

The Bautistasche is... an acquired taste I guess.
Things I observed at the track. All the Ducatis sound so... quiet. This is definitely different from last year. The KTMs are loud as ..... The Aprilias sounded almost musical last year, but they are more like the others now.

The traction control on the satellite Ducatis cut in way more aggressively than all the other bikes.

You can definitely see how much quicker the Yamahas flip from side to side compared to the other bikes. At the same time, you can also see how much slower they drive out of the corners compared to the other bikes. That’s one sweet handling chassis and if they get those electronics sorted out, we will be back to seeing Yamaha domination.

Agreed, the 'Skeletal/mechanical' basis of the Yam' seems to be as sweet as it gets (I was trying to think of a more suitable description than the one you used, Synn, but you hit the nail on the head). The acceleration gremlin does seem to flit between Yam and Honda, certainly a couple of years back the Hondas were getting starched on the straights, primarily due to lack of drive coming out of the corners, hence why we saw so many crashes from the Hondas, as they tried to make up ground on the anchors. Certainly the stable nature of the Yam has helped to prevent this, however credit has to be given to Vale and Mav' for keeping it rubber side down during what must be a very frustrating period.
Let's not forget that if it wasn't for the crazy almost preternatural skills of Marc then the Yam's would be 1,2. Which, I feel, just goes to show what a good chassis (with a solid rider) can do.
