My prediction is that after the race
that all the Hayden fans are going to come on here and manke lots of excuses about tyres and how well he did getting 5th
that all the Vermulen fans are going to come on here and manke lots of excuses about how slow he was and falling off ect ect ect

You¡re probably right Marbs. I don't think Hayden will win and Vermeulen might even fail to make it into the top ten despite being his home track.
The SBK new wunderkid makes his MotoGP debout on home soil, the timing is so perfect that one wonders if Dorna has pulled the strings to make this happen, it's a tough blow for SBK.

i don't think vermulen is going to gps next season. i think he'll try for the title next year & then come over in 07. unless he wins the oz gp of course!

What sort of result do you think vermeulen would need to get to make honda think that they have to have him on a honda RCV next year?

i like chris lots but cant c him in top 8 if he does then its a good result 4 him,
qualifying is gunna tell us lots, the way he slides the back end on the bak brake dosnt normally suit moto gp in my view.. hope he as a good race thow..

Top 15.....................can you see him jumping on an unfamiliar bike Ron and getting a top 5, against better riders? I think its just a really good PR stunt for the team..............the expectation is Chris V is gonna give the GP lads a hard time!!
Look at the Rookies in GP & how long they have taken to get decent results (some are still trying!!!).

I, as a Hayden fan, Don't and have never made any excuses for nicky. I did hear all of the rossi fans excuses for laguna though
It's easy to be the nut-hugger...err....fan, of the guy that always wins, but i don't ride that train and i root for my favorite racer sice long before his GP days
