Pathetic.
Is it not slightly pathetic that you seem to be living your life through the successes of another person?

Of course everyone is entitled to an opinion, I do not expect it will be the same as mine and I'll respect it as long as it's not a bunch of lies and insults.

Don't worry Franco Fangio, this discussion is finished for me. And now that I know what to expect from Burky I wont bother discussing anything else with him, it would be a waste of time.

You are a rude, arrogant child.
I have voiced my opinion on an F1 driver, so have you. I have stated that you're talking 'twaddle', I think you'll agree it's a nice way of putting it if I don't agree with you.
Since your entry with "Sorry to burst your bubble", you have insulted me personally on several occasions now, and then the endless streams of trying to drag me into your pathetic behaviour makes me want to puke. Then you offer me up for a season long feud with a bet to try and make me change my name to Mr. .....!!! Do you really think I'm interested in you for that length of time? What I am interested in is the moment you open your mouth without quite thinking hard enough!

Your details say it all,...... favourite riders......any Spaniard. Two words my son, Sete Gibernau!

You know nothing, you have no idea as to how much I really know, and you have no idea as to who I know. But I am not going to bring 3rd parties into your childish arguement just to prove how wrong you really are. I just, as always, give a reasoned opinion. Your opinions have no reason, it is just mindless cheerleading. It is impossible to have an adult conversation with you.

The very fact you want to open up a season long feud with me, then be rude to me when I decline your offer, is in my eyes not welcome on what should be, and mostly is, a very friendly forum. If you want to just argue and get derogatary, do it somewhere else. As a site sponsor, I certainly don't want to see repeated name calling to anybody, particularly me, but not because I care what you think of me personally, but because one day you might piss off a potential customer!

How old are you?

Strong words Burky, but I likee itt - spices things up a little around here.

Teo is older than me anyhow...he's 19 ain't he?

Sorry to be late on this but i have to add my views. Firstly lets clear up that Alonso is the best driver in F1 at the moment and certainly did a fantastic job to achieve his two titles. If the Mclaren switch goes well his name will truly rank with the bigger names of F1 history.

Secondly, Thinking that Hamilton has a serious chance of the title this year is quite foolish i think. To expect a rookie to perform better than the reigning double world champ over an entire season is a big ask, let alone beating them Ferraris and not making any mistakes. But in the future i son't doubt he will contend, its just a matter of gaining experience.

Lastly, Alonso looked to be very comfortable following Lewis throughout the race, and i think keeping his engine together will certainly have been on his mind. I think he was never going to be in a position to pass lewis on track, because their pace was too similar and the risk too high. But FA will have known that the backmarkers and pit stops could work to his advantage and played an inteligant race with that, with a little bit of help from the tactitions in the pits of course.

This is one thing I don't like about F1, you never really know how fast the drivers really were. There are always these excuses that they were 'looking after their engine' or 'waiting for the pitstops'. The problem is, either can be true, so there is this big question mark.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Burky @ Mar 18 2007, 12:43 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>What do you think now then?

What a little star we have, at last, in Lewis Hamilton. World Champ in his rookie year? I reckon it's a strong possibility.

Remember this, and the row that followed?

Go on Lewis!

Spot on Burk.

The lad is fcking amazing, he's due for a win very soon.

To be leading in your ROOKIE year is a HUGE achievment.

damn, first time to see/read a ropic that's getting personal all coz of different views about f1 drivers.

let's keep it cool guys. just relax.

i don't like alonso much but i think he's a good driver. as for Hammie? well, i think he'sa slo a very good driver and he has a very bright future in f1. not really expecting (ang hoping he doesn't, coz i'm rooting for ferrari) him to win the WDC title this year but that'd be cool though.

the season isn't halfway through yet so let's just keep watching and see how things progress. keep rooting for your fave drivers and such and lets make this forum friendly.

Go Ferrari! go KImi! go massa! go nick! go hammie!

p.s. go takuma! kick some honda ....
