i will completely second that. that is the reason i think it should be on a different channel, maybe espn, spike tv, or a sports network and not mtv. i know they did it because he is a young demographic and yes he is H-O-T. but they need to realize that at the age that they are targeting, the only thing they will get from this is real fans waching because they like the sport and girls watching because they think he's cute. cant wait to see him in tiger beat.

Who's the comentator on the racing clips and could he wish he was Toby Moodie any more

It was much better than i expected.I kinda laughed when his doctor told him to stop what he was doing or his shoulder wouldnt heal.He told the doctor he had to race and the doctor says, well be careful and Nicky says, [Being careful dont pay to well, the sponsors dont like careful]

it wasnt bad at all. pretty cool. i laughed most when he was on the phone with his dad and his dad was clearly not listening to him. i do find it pretty interesting that he has been in motogp for a couple of years now and has visited these spanish speaking countries and doesnt know a word of spanish. somebody in his fan club needs to send him one of those learn spanish in 48 hours tapes.lol.

I just get a message that says 'due to copyright reasons, we can't broadcast the show outside the US'.

I am pissed off now.

that's 1/2 of the official motogp broadcast team, Nick Harris. it's the reason everybody says eurosport has the best coverage, hands down.

That was pretty fun. I enjoyed seeing Nicky away from the track, especially if the film was as true-to-life as he said.

The chop job done on the Valencia race was horrible. It gave one the impression that Nicky and Valentino raced wheel-to-wheel up until the final moments, when Rossi crashed. Also, I don't think they did Rossi justice. They simply said he had multiple championships, not that he is one of the greatest in history.

About Nicky: I didn't expect an Einstein coming into this, but I was still surprised. I know this is a TV production, but Nicky said, in a soup interview, that he didn't alter his behavior for the cameras. He came across as a 16-year-old in his mid twenties. He seemed to clumsily bounce through the various countries and cultures that Moto GP brings him in contact with. The incident with the translator was very childish on Nicky's part.

I'm not angry; neither am I chiding Nicky. I'm actually relieved that he was a little whacky instead of being pious and boring. My point is that he didn't come across as the humble, wholesome good 'ol boy that makes no excuses while innocently chasing his lifelong dream.

For those having viewing problems...

racing-underground.com has a torrent of the show up for download.

I liked that. I thought it portrayed him as a normal person. Not a celebrity. Well in the US, he is not. Works out at a local health club. Lives with the parents. Family scraped money to pay for racing as a kid. Poppa Earl owns a used car dealership. Sounds like a good movie line.

2 hours of replaying the midget center punching him and great footage. Thought it was great.
Still don't like him but great to watch when the only other racing are the taxicabs.

I was a little disappointed in him with the translator also,he was rude to put it bluntly. As far as clumsily bouncing thru various countries, how else would someone from Qwensboro Ky react.Have you ever been to the rural south,he is about as out of his element as you can be.

I'm from northeast Tennessee.

He's been at this for several years, one would think he would be somewhat acclimated to globe trotting (or at least learn some basic spanish vocab).
