Tell you what .... its going to be embarassing if Dovi wins the season on points, only to have the WC taken off him because hes not a contender.

After last year in Austria - this was inevitable. Bravo Dovi. Grande! Who was it said the Hondas would suffer here? Apparently nobody told Marquez and Pedrosa.

In his defense he was doing just fine even before the performance enhancing non-wings were added.

It seems Honda may have solved their issues.

That (other than last year) no races have been run in Austria for 18 years, really evened the field in terms of having experience at this track. Great race!

Thriii for Dovi! This was the most exciting and intriguing race this year. How neither Dovi or Marc crashed or touched is amazing. Well done to Dovi, who should be dispelling several myths about his riding and championship.

We're lucky to see Marquez in this sport at this time. He is fascinating to watch. Almost every lap I was thinking he's going down. He takes the physical limitations of a motorcycle to the miniscule edge. Those Michelins are still .... for most of the grid, but his talent overcomes this disadvantage.

Lorenzo has made progress, I'm sure the circuit characteristics have aided his finishing order today, but his pace was respectable given the ........ tire situation that Honda and Ducati must contend with during races.

Zarco's ability to ride on worn tires is impressive. More impressive is him beating both factory bikes. I'm sure at some point Rossi will go back to whining about Zarco taking away his rightful points.

Loris Baz should be in parc ferme instead of those factory lites bikes that are usually there like two dicks on a bike. I'm sure Moto Kitty will agree, Baz had a fantastic ride today.

KTM should take a good look at their factory riders, and immediately replace one with Mika Kalio. Both Pol and Bradley have not ridden it to its potential, Mika's ride today has made this clear. (Regardless of Pol's mechanical).

Despite all the advantages that Rossi enjoys, he still fails. They may need to go back to SNS tires to add to the other ........ artificial "titles". Last week, his strategy was a disaster despite getting the team communication he requested introduced mid season. This race, beat by a satellite, beat by his rookie teammate, all on his own tires; tires which he pushed to get the second race (Argentina coup d'etat) and managed to lobby it's introduction a few races thereafter. Even in the third race (COTA) the Newspeak term was devised for 'penalty' to be called "time correction". Then bitching to Hurve Poncherello that Zarco was too mean to him. Michelin will get another call tonight. Maybe this time they'll save us the ........ democratic exercise.

What happened to Cuntslow today? He whimpered out of making a brave tire choice?

Don't agree, the Ring is a hp track, tyres have very little to do with it.
Personally I was vey disappointed with all 3 classes today. Apart from Mir 90% of the riders rode like idiots and the other 9+% just took far to many chances as was confirmed by the number of offs and stupid crashes.
Sadly the next race is at boring Sliverstone, an ex ww2 bomber station.

Time for the custard rider to quit, he was pathetic!

Arrabi, remember Rob?

Theo, why do you suppose Cuntslow struggled today? Not enuf hp? Perhaps they forgot to add the turbo hp boost?

Don't underestimate Circle of Whales AKA Sliverstone, there's been some epic battles there over the years.

Dani got close, had a look and thought ".... that's messy", then settled for third.
That last move by Marc today, take another several looks, that was serious control on the nano's edge. And Dovi's presence of mind, to "hear Marc get early on the throttle", .... me! If I was Pedro, I wouldn't want any part of that either.

I really don't understand Lorenzo's tire choice. He had to have known he had no chance of winning and he was just banking on a podium from everyone else besides dovi and Marc being too slow to make up his earlier pace. Is he so off the pace on actual race tires compared to dovi that he thinks the only shot he has at beating him is to do something bat .... crazy and cross his fingers that he can deny the laws of physics?

I do understand he still finished within 7 seconds of dovi, and he might have finished much farther back riding on a medium rear, but the soft tires are simply not a viable option except occasionally for midgets like dani. Jlo running the softs simply tells me he either can't or refuses to learn how to work the harder compounds on the duc

Great rides by Marc and Baz today, as well as pedrosa considering he barely made it out q1. Dovi clearly had the best pace but Marquez simply can't let a position go, it's truly a spectacle.

I also today came to the conclusion that dovi is certainly now on the same level as Marc vinales pedrosa and JLo in riding prowess.

Edit : Just to clarify l always thought dovi was a contender, just that he simply wasn't on the same level as talent as the 4 mentioned. Kind of like bottas is a title contender in f1, but I don't believe he's on the same level as ham, vettel, ricciardo or verstappen. Until today

Great race, thought Pedrosa had something for them but a mixture of worn tires and small balls saw him fade when it got serious. Great Ride from Dovi, i kept waiting and waiting for him to fold after Marquez would take him like he was standing still in the fast esses but it became clear that except for that one section of track, Dovi and the Ducati had an answer everywhere else.Of course everywhere else was a straight, lol. As much as i want Marquez to win the title, i would be over the moon happy for Dovi if he somehow pulled it off. As a matter of fact, i would be ok with any of the top 4 except for Rossi. Speaking of Rossi, i havent heard his excuse but im sure he was either feeling weak from his stomach ache or got bad tires, or maybe both.We are 11 races in and Rossi has beaten Vinales 1 time in races where they both finished. Thats all despite Rossi getting his prefered tires and chassis as the season went along. Say what you want, when the Yamaha was on the previous tire and chassis, Vinales was winning races and leading the championship. If they continue to slide, who is going to accept blame for forcing these changes. Im beginning to think Rossi forced these changes not so much to help himself, but to de-rail Maverick and save him the humiliation of of his 1st year teammate winning the title. Jorge has to progress away from choosing the soft option even though this was the weekend to try as Ianonne made it work last year for the win. All in all a very good race even though this track is a joke. Must be some huge bucks changing hands for it to be on the schedule as it doesnt meet FIM MotoGp qualifications.

Dovi serving the field today only makes him a bartender. Marc is the only contender.
Pedrosa is nothing but a boat tender and Lorenzo's mental problems make him a chicken tender.
The streak of yellow soiling the sport is nothing but a catheter

very exciting race, best of the season so far, and congrats to Dovi... and I think its certainly fair to suggest the possibility of Dovi winning the championship

Where is everybody? It's like a grave yard around here. JPL seems to be gone. Lots of humor but not much race talk.
