2. Pedrosa 321.5

3. Dovizioso 319.9

and another nice thing is Spies with the slowest bike on the podium.

Nicky ...... up and raced like Pedrosa today by folding and bobbling. Ben made Nicky look stupid and while doing so made the biggest statement for who should be subing for Rossi. Not to take anything away from Spies cause he was downright awesome, but didn't Rossi win Qatar with the slowest top speed as well?

Yep, he sure did. Lorenzo dominated the race yesterday with a bike that was just a tad faster than Spies. Something like 1 mph difference in trap speed between Spies and Lorenzo..

Im surprised no one really commented on Stoner, now I dont like the guy, but dam, if he had a good start he might have won his pace from last was amazing. They guy can fly when he wants to. Good for Spies he's been working hard ever since he left the AMA wether Hayden messed up and or not I think Ben would have taken 3rd, he was hunting hayden for the last two laps, it really was just a matter of time and Hayden simply didnt keep it together.



As for the track, its dam near the top of my list now, lots of passing and fast, me likey.

Doesn't high speeds mean those guys with more speeds have a faster bike? If not, how do they lap faster?

I Believe they win a bit every lap from slower bikes, but some of them lose it in the corners, where the good riders gain there.

Spies has had a slower bike for every lap in comparance to everybody else, but he has been faster in the corners and that has made the difference, like when in Qatar Rossi was the slowest, and they could'nt overtake him, because he was faster in the corners and made an enough gap every lap before comming to the long straits.



would those guys with high speed still finish at the same place if they had a slower bike? or will they fall back every lap a little more?

Jumkie you know they never will because if they did they would have to admit things about 2007 that they can not bring themselves to admit. A casual observer would understand that they spend about 10 - 15 sec on the straight out of a 1.5 to 2 minute lap but not the bopper!

Weird that experts like you and Jum don't worry about power/top speed when jokers who don't know .... about the sport like Jorge think it IS important...

JL: It was good enough to win today! But we all have problems, always. Today we had problems, and we have to speak to the Japanese. Especially we need to improve the engine, because we don't have enough power compared to Ducati and Honda. So we have a lot of work to do.
