At last!! a tasteful Rossi home race helmet.

This of course owes more to the late Storm Thorgeson than the dreadful Aldo Drudi but it's a nice sentiment for Sic.

Actually, off to see Roger Waters right now at Wembley Stadium.

Your now an even bigger muppet and TD is losing respect.

FFS Marquez had taken the chequered flag!

The same as Willarot!

RW DID WHAT HE SHOULD HAVE! CLOSED THE THROTTLE AND STARTED TO COAST ROUND!

MM just carried on because he had fcuked up earlier and had not had the practise time!

FFS go back and watch the footage again!

MichealM you too and anyone else who agree's RW was in the wrong.

This unavoidable accident ended one motorbike racers career FFS!

I think you will find I am in agreement with you. However good he is (and he is very good) it doesn't excuse this incident as I said, and it is not a dead horse Baturro because MM apparently tried to justify the incident by partly blaming Willairot this very weekend when asked about the recent incident for which another rider received a much harsher penalty.

I'm sure the incident is long past and forgotten for MM.  He know's there was a mistaken made.  There is nothing that he can do now to remedy that mistake other than doing what he has been.  Riding fast, winning and staying out of trouble.  I'm guessing he's annoyed there seems to be preferential treatment towards him, but I guarantee he hasn't asked for it or need it.

MM is just want to ride fast, win and win.

Baturro, u should apply to be his PR guy. Ur good at it buddy. (Not being sarcastic).

Cue up Povol (a M. Vick fan), ah who cares, he got pole, so hes innocent. Success=forgiveness.

----------

Im hoping everybody gets though the first lap cleanly. Nicky has had an awful time here. I cant remember how many times he's been torpedoed at Misano (3-4 times, cant remember, I've suppressed memories). Alvaro qualled ahead of him so no worries there, though VR should be praying for clemency. How many camera shots will we get from VRs fan club? Oh and Lil Red, I think Cal is still a bit beat up from UFC Silverstone. This race is Marcs to lose, I just hope we get Lorenzo in the mix. We should get a bit of a battle between Pedro and VR, right? The big ? will be how the semen transmission holds up. Will all the Ducati riders finish the race in one piece? God knows.

Fair enuf Baturro, however this week's revelation of penalty reserected the stark contrast on how some riders are treated, so its fair game to revisit, right? In a sense, that deadhorse came to life, as this is very much a relevant sequel to the incident. Would u agree? Now we have a rider banned for 2 races for doing something half as bad as Marc, showing just how inconsistent the League is and validating those of us who point it out. I didnt write the article on Motomatters, im giving it more attention. Of course those people who dont or wont or cant face the inconsistency (favoritism) of the League ( like the Deal, Povol, and Elitemafia, etc. ) want to dismiss this latest indication (or perhaps its just their limited capacity to understand the world ) and stick their heads in the sand. This little episode is real, it happened, and given my compulsive propensity to ..... about the League's inconsistency is like throwing me a tasty steak.  Ok, perhaps a character flaw of mine, I accept.  However, Not facing it I suppose reenforces their view of the series as: all is fair, no machinates at work, no perspective or context. Theyre the WWE fan equivalent that actually believes the proceedings at face value. Oh but he just got pole, so discussing this must mean I hate him, hate racing, and dismiss the accomplishment. Haha that is who im dealing with, fans like these cant actually perceive the world with complexity.

Really?  as you avoid this, I will ask again, if the league are so bad, the politics are so bad, the riders are so bad, the bikes are so bad, the parity is so bad, race direction are so bad, and its all a fix why do you bother?

Definitely agree he doesn't need any help from Dorna, and agree that he has not been dangerous at all this year except to the egos of his rivals.

But this doesn't make it any less nonsensical for him to say the PI 2011 incident was partly Willairot's fault, if he did say that this weekend as we are reliably informed.

Saw him last year in Sydney. Surprisingly enjoyable since I have never liked "The Wall", although a huge fan of Pink Floyd up to and including "Wish You Were Here". He even had a guy on guitar who could play something like Dave Gilmour, and Roger seemed to be enjoying himself which was good to see.

I guess neither Hipgnosis nor Pink Floyd would mind the rather appropriate sentiment as you say.

Very well put, Michael.

I was enjoying a free beer at Honda Corner that day and we heard the crash. At the time we were Completely baffled as to what happened, just that Marquez had crashed out on the cool down lap. Then the reports came in that RW was lifted out to the Alfred. The fact that Marquez was even on the grid for that race is beyond me. It still rankles.

Rather more elaborate set/props (certainly a more impressive wall), understandably given international freight rates to Australia, than he brought to Sydney.

It's the scaled up stadium version that's has only been toured this year.

Why penalize riders for running wide in that corner during practice and Q, but not during race?? So stupid.

Replace the concrete with grass and gravel. .

Two dead horse beatings don't make a right... or something like that. Jum's already admitted to his character flaw - loves the ...., can't help his 'probing' nature. Get over it or ignore.
