I could write a book regarding today's hilarious qualifying results, but I won't. Suffice to say, Dorna's MotoWWF rules continue to alter the record books.

Anyway, when I saw this it made me laugh. Thought about You Levi; maybe another question for Kropo regarding Rossi's relationships with rivals perhaps? Ha!

That's funny man, when I saw that hug I texted you immediately! I didn't realize you had already made reference to it here. Fukin crazy to see those two acting like pals. If Rossi continues to get beaten by Lorenzo I wonder how long until the old Rossi returns? Pit walls and disparaging remarks. In the meantime, looks like all old wounds forgiven.

As for the race, like we discussed already....Mixing former M2 guys up front with over eager home town riders and the normal front runners is a recipe for first lap crashes. Lorenzo has the best long term pace provided he can get away clean. I also think Pedrosa will fare better in the race than he has thus far in practice and quali. This will be a good race.

God I hope not. I need him to win. So I can be amused at the revisions of the revisions. That POS RCV that has been in steep "DECLINE" crushed the all time lap record of its previous record during quali. Or as Kropo would put it (based on its rider's complaints), the Honda has taken a step backwords.

I recall that they've reconciled a while ago. After Sete retired obviously.

Krops probably would have a whole load of quotes ready to go that the grit and determination of Marc Marquez simply caused him to ride at 11/10ths, and bend the laws of physics to command the RCV to do exactly what he wanted it to. The power of running in front of the Spanish fans was enough to cause the Bridgestone tires to take on new characteristics that perfectly suited him, while Carmelo shot thick loads all over the TV screen.

Question : Budoist, do you write these posts yourself or is this a cut paste job?

Hey Jumkie,

The answer is "yes". I do write these up myself, which is why they come at varying times going in to the race weekend depending on what's happening at work or at home to interfere. Hope you guys like them.

Mike D, not quite really actively looking for a job in the field although I certainly wouldn't turn it down. I did apply for the opening when Krop had it on offer, but the only other real attempt was trying to get the Austin American Statesman to pick me up as a freelance writer or something. That was mainly because we have no coverage of anything race related here in town. Can you believe that? We have this fantastic track right here in our back yard, international acclaims and honors with track owners saying they want the "Austin tower" and at the time you could count the articles about MotoGP on both hands with fingers left over. Half of them were even of the drama between the owners and rights holders. Travesty! So I was trying to drum up some interest.

Right now this is all a labor of love that lets me practice and refine my writing while I work on my other writing projects.

Krop, we really do need to get together the next time you're in Austin. I'll buy the first round.

That's impressive Bud. If Kropo hires u that would be great, I like the comic twist you have to the posts.

It's race day fuckers!! :D

I like that he likes to hunt & fish. That makes Casey Stoner shine in my book.

Yeah bu tfuck him, he's a Lewis Hamilton fan. Tells me all I need to know,

+1

Maverick just managed to destroy bike 1 in the WUP. Unhurt but that can't help his confidence. Lorenzo still on crazy pace. 1:41's over and over again. The dude is just on it.

Look at that lean angle!
