The North!
I am surmising that this may be the case. Obviously it could be that Rossi just stinks on the Duc.
Maybe?

The wee ... will be greetin coz someone out qualified him, he'll be on the phone to Paul Hogan for a "funny" response as we speak. Or maybe the guy who writes the "comedy" Angry boys. Either way, it will be no laughing matter.
Yeah I know!! ...... I heard Stoner say "if", "then" "but" and wait for it "it" ........... unbelievable moaning eh!!
and the Stoner fans think you are the whinging joke!! WTF is with that Pete?
If you used proper words Barry I might understand you.
I'd rather the Stoner fan(s) called me more offensive names than that or at least said my kilt outweighed my knowledge of motorbikes. Tell you what. I will pull out a pen knife and you can take out a machete an Stoner fans will laugh til December
Rossi seems too proud to get a tow from Barbera...
Looks like Rossi wasn't sandbagging at all. Crutchlow/Bradl will be taking Spies/Pedrosa seat next year?
Duc is a pig? Rossi is the pig. Go home, fake GOAT.
Hayden has an excelent race pace, we just don't know if the tires will last.
Dude, i dont remember u being this harsh on VR (or perhaps i wasnt paying attention). Anyway, u know im thee biggest Nicky fan, but i fully expect Nicky to burn his tires (assuming nobody torpedoes him in first lap as usual) where Rossi (tire manager) will be in a position to finish ahead or near Nicky. I honestly think Rossi strategically gave up on qual for a race set up.
But for certain, i doubt a Duc will finish top six barring a front runner's crash. The first Duc looks destined to finish after 2 Hondas and 4 Yamahas. But it wont be for lack of trying.
Because Nicky was looking for a qualifying lap time and Rossi was looking for race pace setup and lap times. But as always, I will be wrong........
I was very nervous in that moment, you know. Every time I see Rossi lapping ~2 seconds off the pace I got desperate b/c we all know his importance for the sport. It hurts bad see the Duke and Rossi in this miserable position. However, you must agree with me that Valentino should put more heart on that bike. Blaming it every time something goes wrong won't help. Preziosi already knows all the problems, but he can't solve them in one round trip. I remember Rossi stating last year that he would have to change his style 50% while Ducati should change the bike the others 50%. Well, Ducati made its part. So, what about Rossi?
This relationship is getting more and more embarrassing.
Sorry I killed this thread with my last comments, wait a few hours while Barry waits for Hogan or Unfunny Boys writer dude to get back to him with a "comedy" comeback.
Hey Australia, it's Comedy Central with kangaroos!
Interesting thing for me is that at this early stage it would seem that Nakamoto (was it ?) is correct and the Yamaha is the better bike between Yamaha and Honda.
I recall when it was reported that he was somewhat pilloried as Stoner and Pedrosa were performing well in the tests, but at this stage one could say that the testing does seem to backup that Honda have some work to do (not a lot, just some).
There in lies the truth. I watched Quali, and apart from not really seeing the ducs much at all-especially rossi, the shots I saw reflected a rider(rossi) all at sea and not even a patch on the rossi of old and looking even slower than last year-they have absolutely no idea whats going on at this point-to be a consistent 2+ seconds off the pace and .8 off Colin on the CRT is more than embarrassing for a rider of Rossi's stature. They've turned it upside down in and out and are still going backwards. It doesn't reflect Ducati or Rossi and they need a miracle or dare I say it part ways asap-and Rossi onto another bike, into retirement or into another class for this is clearly not working or is it ever going to- the gap is too large and there is something fundamentally wrong with the way they are working. Of course at the same time I hope I'm wrong.......for all of their sakes-but right now it is farcical. Nicky has proven the bike is not too bad and well done to him.
Otherwise its looks very good for Yamaha, very happy for Cal and when Ben stops crashing he'll be right there at the front, Jorge-Unstoppable unless tyres come into it. Might be some Drama in the Honda camp too-Pedders looks way off and Stoner is overly- sooking already after not getting his top spot on the grid-should all auger well for maybe a decent race.
