MotoGp 2012 Rnd1 Qatar FP.Quali.Predictions

I am surmising that this may be the case. Obviously it could be that Rossi just stinks on the Duc.

Maybe?

If you used proper words Barry I might understand you.

I'd rather the Stoner fan(s) called me more offensive names than that or at least said my kilt outweighed my knowledge of motorbikes. Tell you what. I will pull out a pen knife and you can take out a machete an Stoner fans will laugh til December

Sorry I killed this thread with my last comments, wait a few hours while Barry waits for Hogan or Unfunny Boys writer dude to get back to him with a "comedy" comeback.

Hey Australia, it's Comedy Central with kangaroos!

birty's tweet

Rossi: "We did a small modify 2 the bike and it gives a bad, bad feeling. Everyone in MGP is fast so it’s very easy be in the back"

For all you concerned Rossi-boppers.......don,t worry.

Valentino has a cunning secret strategy. Talpa will be along shortly to explain....................................................

Rossi is no dummy. He knows a good bike and knows the Duc is still a Duck. He is not going to put that thing on the limit when, more than likely, he will end up on the ground and possibly injured. That would make an already tuff row to hoe much more complicated.

Keep giving feedback to the engineers for improvement and then if he gets closer to the front then he will take risk. Taking big risk to move up 7th or 8th place just doesn't make sense at this point.

The real shame is, that his wonderful race craft, is stuck back in mid pack instead of mixing it up at the front.

It seems Preziosi has pleaded "guilty". At least he's acquitted Rossi from any doubt.

I'm waiting the translated version.

Duc is a pig? Rossi is the pig. Go home, fake GOAT.

Hayden has an excelent race pace, we just don't know if the tires will last.

Dude, i dont remember u being this harsh on VR (or perhaps i wasnt paying attention). Anyway, u know im thee biggest Nicky fan, but i fully expect Nicky to burn his tires (assuming nobody torpedoes him in first lap as usual) where Rossi (tire manager) will be in a position to finish ahead or near Nicky. I honestly think Rossi strategically gave up on qual for a race set up.

My realistic side says a Duc finish top six is best they can hope for barring a front runner's crash. The first Duc looks destined to finish after 2 Hondas and 4 Yamahas. But it wont be for lack of trying.

I was very nervous in that moment, you know. Every time I see Rossi lapping ~2 seconds off the pace I got desperate b/c we all know his importance for the sport. It hurts bad see the Duke and Rossi in this miserable position. However, you must agree with me that Valentino should put more heart on that bike. Blaming it every time something goes wrong won't help. Preziosi already knows all the problems, but he can't solve them in one round trip. I remember Rossi stating last year that he would have to change his style 50% while Ducati should change the bike the others 50%. Well, Ducati made its part. So, what about Rossi?

This relationship is getting more and more embarrassing.

Interesting thing for me is that at this early stage it would seem that Nakamoto (was it ?) is correct and the Yamaha is the better bike between Yamaha and Honda.

I recall when it was reported that he was somewhat pilloried as Stoner and Pedrosa were performing well in the tests, but at this stage one could say that the testing does seem to backup that Honda have some work to do (not a lot, just some).

There in lies the truth. I watched Quali, and apart from not really seeing the ducs much at all-especially rossi, the shots I saw reflected a rider(rossi) all at sea and not even a patch on the rossi of old and looking even slower than last year-they have absolutely no idea whats going on at this point-to be a consistent 2+ seconds off the pace and .8 off Colin on the CRT is more than embarrassing for a rider of Rossi's stature. They've turned it upside down in and out and are still going backwards. It doesn't reflect Ducati or Rossi and they need a miracle or dare I say it part ways asap-and Rossi onto another bike, into retirement or into another class for this is clearly not working or is it ever going to- the gap is too large and there is something fundamentally wrong with the way they are working. Of course at the same time I hope I'm wrong.......for all of their sakes-but right now it is farcical. Nicky has proven the bike is not too bad and well done to him.

Otherwise its looks very good for Yamaha, very happy for Cal and when Ben stops crashing he'll be right there at the front, Jorge-Unstoppable unless tyres come into it. Might be some Drama in the Honda camp too-Pedders looks way off and Stoner is overly- sooking already after not getting his top spot on the grid-should all auger well for maybe a decent race.

Yer bum's oot the windae.

Gie it laldy Stoner!

Rossi bowfing.

Stoner is either bagging, or they have serious problems. He says if they dont come up with something overnight, they will be lucky to podium. He only ran 6 hot laps the entire Q session.

Wouldn't be surprised at all if Honda come out with a new inline 4 engine in the future.

I'm telling you, the .... must hit the fan when folk analyze any V or square motor with regard to VSG.

Bit surprised its taken so long for it to become apparent.

Yamaha are very clever. Though in all honesty it could have been shear "dumb luck" they ended up with the bike with the least offensive cornering habits. I've suspected this before as well.

I hope you're wrong too.

Anyway, this guy is incredible honest:

If there is one person who deserves a victory, this one is Filipo Preziosi. I would pay to shake the man's hand.
