MotoGP 13 Austin: THE RACE

Watched it several times now and it seems Dani really missed an opportunity to try and set a precedent for the season. Right after MM passed Dani the first time he was close enough to force his way back through on the next corner, bold but it looked doable. He wouldn't have been able to hold MM back for long but he could have at least show some fight and not rolled over for the rookie... He's lookin' beaten.

The Eurosport broadcast team are freaking buffoons.

Woodcote - have you never read a race thread before?

motogp looking up CEV ? 3 races 3 new winners Spanish Armada well done guys

Dovi  Da man eh

So much in agreement. Sadly underrated and criminally disregarded due to politics.

semi boring race,

but marquez was really impressive, the kid deserves all the recognition for sure.  Pedro is prob crapping himself.  Lorenzo just keeping up with the points. Rossi had a disc brake problem or something?

Not the best racing but the track looked beautiful, i need to get there next year.

watched the race with 22 hours delay as usual:

1) Marquez: Congratz Amigo .... great race... Gifted kid... hope he can hold his momentum...

2) Pedrosa: Once I thought he has some tyre issues... after the race he said it was his arm... don't know which one is true... all I know is he is so fast to be a test rider and to soft to be a champion contender.. Hope he is playing the long championship points game with Jorge

3) Lorenzo: The best game he could play on the Honda track ... well done... solid race....

4) Crutchlow: If only rossi would have stayed in the Ducati you would have earned that factory M1 .... He really deserves that blue bike...

Final Word: Nice new circuit... Amazing character ... It has both straight parts and tight corners ... Can't wait for the 3rd round. I think Marquez has to do a little bit more in the Jerez circuit since Lorenzo and Pedrosa are amazing in the Spanish grandprix.

Even though everybody seems to love this track so much, it seemed like the field would spread out pretty far from FP1.
As Kropotkin has reported, and as a number of people can attest to, it's not a well-liked track.

Surprised that nobody has mentioned that Marquez's "youngest rider" distinction is only by a margin of 133 days. Spencer was also 20 when he won his first GP.

If Marky has Pedro's measure to this degree in the first two races of his MotoGP career, what's it going to be like later on in the season?

It is the "youngest" record not  who won at age 20 record.

If i was a moderator for a day

I prob would feel a little gay

I would scan the board for any trolls

Not realizing that without them things tend to get droll

I would check Cliches reports to see who crossed the line.

And think to myself, that kid must have a vagine

I would roll my eyes when Knockdown says ....

But laugh because those dumb .......s keep falling for it.

I would name my self after a corner of a track

And hope noone outs the real me or Ill get a knife in the back

I will be diligent and do my duty

Even though I'm as popular as fresh steamy doody

I will make sure the C word is never spoke

Because my real name is Keshav and I wont stand for jokes

I would read Andys poems and say .... i cant do that

but then realize noone can compete with oxy and crack

I will end this poor attempt to emulate Arabb and Andy

Cuz I cant hold a candle to the farts from their fanny

Good call Kesh, we are seeing riders younger and younger these days.  The record was bound to be broken.   Back in 82 that must have "felt" even younger for him,  If you know what I mean.

I woud say Spencers record is more impressive

Back then It took half a rookie season to figure out why you kept waking up in the back of an ambulance

Good point.

Plus back then, you had to bump start your bike....maybe Ezy (notice how he's dropped off the vitriol map now that golden boy has arrived) can reinstitute that to improve Rossi's starts versus his midget opponents.
