Also his first real interview in a long time. Ducati put a gang order on him at the end of 2008.

Not so bad really. I expected worse. Of course he was last but 1 second from midpack is not so bad on a raw machine. Talked about suspension/chassis problems but didn't complain about the engine performance. Hayate racing is a welcome addition in my book.

Being on the Kawasaki he will have the perfect excuse for poor results because everyone knows it is a questionable (aka piece of ....) bike. So, all Melandri has to do is keep a positive attitude, show a good work ethic and not trash talk the bike/team/manager/etc and he will have a "good season". Then hope to get picked back up by a Honda satellite team next year.
 
Nope to Suzuki to replace Capirossi. Capirossi to be kept on as team coach or something. That is what I would like.
