Le Mans MotoGP:Spoiler

Don't worry about Jum, he will be sober tomorrow morning
<

makes total sense, stoner chews softer compound tires up with his style

doesn't explain why pedrosa was so far off the pace though, him and spies puzzle me

I think, going by what Casey said in the post race press conference, the Honda was struggling to get heat into the tyres in morning warm up. This has always been a recurring issue for Dani. I suspect his grip was compromised in the early stages of the race.

What's wrong with Ben? - his crew chief - I'm absolutely convinced of that. I don't think that Ben is all at sea, rather Houseworth appears to be drowning in an ocean of set up difficulties.

Absolutely! Ben needs a garage reorganization and needs it fast or he'll find himself at LCR or worse quite quickly I imagine.

I gotta agree. Spies ain't even TREADING WATER, in fact he is SINKING. Houseworth appears TO BE OUT OF HIS DEPTH and I am not certain he has the FOGGY ist idea of what to do next.

Think Lin Jarvis said they expect two wins from Ben this season and I really expected him to make some WAVES, but after 4 races, looks like two podiums may be a BRIDGE too far. If this form continues, they may SHIP him off back to Tech3 and Cal could be on the RADAR.

I know we are all FISHING for answers, but Ben surely does not become this bad over night. Lorenzo, Dovi and Cal are all making the Yam work, but Spies looks so uncomfortable and not confident on the bike.

If the dude continues like this he will end up in last PLAICE.

thought I would keep the nautical theme that Arrab started going

was houseworth his crew chief at tech3?

he showed great potential and scored some good results in his first year

Erm... that would be SONAR.

It may be a bit premature to keelhaul Housie, but it seems likely that something needs to change.

Pretty sure Houseworth has been his chief mech since his AMA days.

doesn't make sense that its his fault if he has been good enough at setting bens bike up to score pole and podium as a rookie (both of them)on a satellite bike

i'll get flamed for this but i suspect spies problem has been that he thinks the top guys are a step above him.you can't talk about your opposition as if they're leagues above you skill wise

somebody give that boy some coke or something else that gets him is self confidence back

All evidence currently shows his opposition is leagues above him.....He cant blame the bike ...it seems to work for the other riders....so he can only blame himself and his side of the garage.....

Well he has more a few more races before the real silly season starts and he loses his ride....

Yeah he has - and achieved great success in both AMA World Superbike. Since his ascendence to GP there seems to have been a series of blunders in spite of some great rides on the Tech 3 Yam and notably Assen and Valencia last year. Perhaps there is too much conjecture involved on my part, but that side of the garage don't seem to be getting the best out of arguably the best all round bike on the grid - that is irrefutable. It's as if there's a wall separating either side...but that would just be ridiculous.

Lorenzo-Awesome, very difficult to beat him for the title this year.

Rossi-still seems to have 'it' in spades despite popular opinion on PS..........one of the best rides I've seen from him, on what is clearly a difficult machine to pilot. The Enigma of the Ducati continues to baffles 'Just add water'.......'Water off a ducks back', having him close to the front and battling simply makes for better entertainment IMO

Stoner-very good ride also, burnt out his rubber, but showed great fight with Rossi, it really was great to see another battle between these two before Stoner leaves-The racing gods were kind to us yesterday.......hopefully we may see more yet

Shame about the Tech III, they were great to watch, funny to see the 'rock solid' M1's give away so much, whilst the Ducati held firm...? I feel for Herve, especially at home

Pedders? is he still an alien?

Spies WTF? time to get off that incredible machine and give someone else a go, I thought the bad results were isolated and easily explained, this is now just getting embarrassing for him on that bike.

Hayden? I expected much more with what Rossi did

Barbera? I thought he was fastest Duck.......

Coverage of CRT's mid-race......hilarious

Did you enjoy the race yesterday Arab?

Good to see that there were no barbed comments between Stoner and Rossi after the race. Rossi looked so happy I think he was wetting himself.

It's still 'today' relatively speaking - I'm 11 hours behind you.

Fabulous - I just wish the testing hadn't been a wash out because I want Valentino to be able to do that in the dry again. At least the 'softer' Desmo allowed him to actually turn the thing. In fact Crutchlow commented from following him in practise how he couldn't believe how quickly Vale could get the thing turned in. Great race - good to see Valentino back - downside is, so is Nino.......... glory hunter.

Yes, hopefully the data may give them some idea of how to replicate this in the dry, I would imagine-as Rossi still looked a little out of sorts on two or three corner entries- and amazing on others, yet quite good on corner exit, that the engine breaking and power delivery are now the two major stumbling blocks for the dry. Turning the thing 'down' a lot for the wet obviously suits Rossi's style much more, and maybe not Nicky's......there was no shortage of balls either, watching Stoner and Rossi on the main straight wobbling violently at that speed in the wet whilst dicing was truly amazing. Motogp needed a shot in the ..., and it got one at Le Mans.....ironically Schumi was also present.......
