Le Mans MotoGP:Spoiler

Lets not forget Ben Spies and RDP have no luck. They both were on the far right of the grid where the water was heaviest. Is lactose intolerance contagious? I know mystery illnesses can be, but I dont think LI is.

Winning a wet race does not prove the bike is fixed. This came down to guts and talent.

So we should have seen CRT's up in front?

Great race by all the guys in ...... conditions. Lorenzo was fantastic, great run by Rossi, Stoner-I expected a bit more, but settled & thought about the championship (looked to be having trouble with edge grip on accelaration).

Where are all the calls of boring, precessional racing? Lorenzo won by 10 seconds.

Dont think i saw Lorenzo on tv after the first couple of laps. TV more focused on the great stoner, rossi, crutchlow, dove battle. That was very exciting. Takes more than one in line to be a procession !

Coverage still a bit erratic though. It looked to me as though someone gave instructions to give the CRTs some air time at a crucial point in the rossi-stoner battle.

Maybe they should water the track every meet rather than change the regulations?

Lorenzo too good today. Welcome back to the podium Vale & Ducati. Stoner stayed up & got good points.

Dovi & Cal wasted a really good opportunity.

What is going on with Spies? All the other 3 Yamaha's looked very planted, Spies's bike looked like it was trying to spit him off at every opportunity.

In winter testing he was right there with Lorenzo & now he is nowhere. Friggin strange indeed. He is better than this.

The race today showed one thing clearly: the dominace of the factory teams' #1 riders over their teammates. Technically, it was pretty boring indeed. Yam#1, Honda#1 and Duc#1 did their best considering the circumstances. Yam#1 just rode away, Duc#1 grabbed his chance and Honda#1 settled for P3, preferring a rostrum over the gravel trap. The top3 showed their speed, their professionalism, and their race craft.

Shame on Pedro (though he was at least gifted P4), Hayden and Spies. Very smart, though not über-heroic from Bradl (a bit like the first 3 races - I'm impressed for this performance by a rookie, but he will need to up the ante if he wants to seriously start challenging Tech3 etc.), Bautista ran rather mediocre (didn't he want to challenge for the podium?), Barbera nowhere and Abraham DNF, once again on for technical stuff? Strange. And Tech 3 - promising, but overambitious. It's ok considering it's the teams home GP and they could smell the podium. Fortunate both could continue, P7&8 is ok.

CRT: Big, big shame for Petrucci, .... Ellison and PBM (good performance, though). RdP wtf?! That was so ridiculous I almost felt sorry for him. Almost.

Nice to see Rossi and Stoner shake hands on the cool down lap. Seemed almost genuine.

Thanks rain for giving us the chance to see a good Rossi-Stoner duel again. I had almost lost hope of seeing one again.

Big boost for Rossi's morale (and Ducati's) but a dry Mugello will be the real test, for both of them.

Lorenzo seems to be the new king of the wet! His smoothness and regularity on the M1 pays off.
