Le Mans MotoGP:Spoiler

Thanks rain for giving us the chance to see a good Rossi-Stoner duel again. I had almost lost hope of seeing one again.
<

Big boost for Rossi's morale (and Ducati's) but a dry Mugello will be the real test, for both of them.

Lorenzo seems to be the new king of the wet! His smoothness and regularity on the M1 pays off.

Chatter if still present may not combine well with the wet (I hope stoner doesn't say this) but as roger says winning in the rain is down to skill and guts and jorge and valentino displayed much more of the former than anyone else and were also prepared to push harder than stoner today.

Stoner said he had no edge grip from the beginning. No mention of chatter.

Entertaining race, Lorenzo wasn't going to be denied. The battle between Rossi and Stoner was fun to watch.

Was impressed with Bradl, very good run for him...although I wish Nicky could have been a little closer to Pedrosa/Bradl I think he could have battled with Pedro...still a skewed result from Nick becasue Dovi and Crutch did some soil sampling.

good battle all race between rossi and the tech3 guys and then stoner

so happy to see him fighting again
<

master performance by lorenzo, very solid ride by bradl,

finally a battle between rossi and stoner again

couldn't ask for more
<

(btw, whats wrong with pedrosa?why did spies pull in after a couple of laps?)

Those conditions are bloody atrocious! Somehow I don't think it'll be the usual 3 today. This will be Vale's best opportunity this year, hope he doesn't blow it...
Hey Mick - good call, ya nailed it before the race started!

spies totally lost his mojo he not happy with anything motogp
Yep something is VERY wrong in that garage.

Nice fight between Rossi and Stoner. Nice and clean and extremely skilful from both.
Didn't you post, like 24 hours ago that Vale's skill was gone and even on a competitive bike he'd be miles behind...

Post race Casey said both he and Pedro had issues getting heat into the tires. Edge grip was especially slow in coming. I believe Casey pushed as hard as the Honda would allow today.

Gp is better and more exciting when Rossi is competitive.

So many here get flamed for calling a race boring that he is not competitive in.

Guess what. They were right

RDP is the bumbling fumbling Inspector Closeau of GP.

He officially crashed 2.5 seconds into a race

It was a perfectely understandable mishap yet somehow you know it could never happen to anyone but him.

Ive officially thrown in the towel and giving up all hope for Nicky Hayden in GP

I'm happy to see Rossi back on podium

I'm not sure what this means. Nicky has always performed on this level. And always will.

You don't write that sort of Corporate ........ for a living, do you?

Stoner said his tires were worn out. He had a better pace and was catching up slowly with Lorenzo when it was raining more, then the rain almost stopped and his tires deteriorated. It figures. Rossi had a better pace than him at the end of the race.

makes total sense, stoner chews softer compound tires up with his style

doesn't explain why pedrosa was so far off the pace though, him and spies puzzle me

I'm happy to see Rossi back on podium

Great, the worst thing that could happen, the Boppers & Neoboppers in a tizzy, and the Hayden haters in overdrive, while some previous Nicky fans going all J4rno on his .... I think i'll take mt1960s lead and retire from the forum.

.... U ALL.

And Rossi had fastest lap of the race!

Instant classic?

Fun race, Lorenzo put on a clinic, Rossi dueling with half the field, Stoner pushing as hard as he could without edge grip and the Tech3 boys giving it their all. And I was very impressed with Stoner and Rossi post race, shaking hands on the cool down and very classy of Casey to shake hands with the Ducati crew in parc ferme.

I didn't really mean to offend. I don't hate Nicky. He's probably more likeable than all the Spanish guys in all the 3 classes put together, but 6th has been more or less the standard of Nicky's Ducati results, that's the level he's at and has been. He was mostly behind Stoner in 2009/2010 and has been slightly behind with Rossi as his team mate as well. Don't get me wrong, I'd like seeing him on the podium, but it's been a while. And he's not really in the race to get one of the HRC/Yamaha rides next year, now is he?

Besides, I'm a fan of Kallio. You can make as much fun of his mediocrity as you like, I won't get that worked up about it.
