Laguna Seca Prediction

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Checa_7 @ Jul 17 2008, 06:26 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>Stoner...

wait 15 seconds...

Rossi
Edwards
Hayden
Lorenzo

Something tells me Stoner is not going to runaway this time. I want to see close racing this time (atleast with VR & CS) like Catalunya.

I think we all want to see close racing, but I don't see it happening. I'd love to see a Rossi win, even one of the Americans... but I think Stoner will nail it again. He's in unbelievable form and he'll most likely destroy the rest like he did last year.

Ah well, we can dream

I fecking Love Laguna, couldn't really care who wins between Stoner and Rossi but hope Nicky is at the front somewhere and if he beats Rossi how much will Jumkie gloat. Edwards might be in with a shout longshot shout but that would be good, really I ain't bothered as long as the camera rides on with someone down the corkscrew to make us all .... our pants.

Pedrosa can't walk (the ankle took a big hit) but says his hand is his biggest worry.

I may dislike the guy but his toughness carries a lot of weight in my book. He's got some cajones for stepping onto that bike. Although if he falls again and takes out riders with him that could completely change things.

VTwinner predicted Pedrobot's stack, give the man a prize.

He's the John Edwards of MotoGP.

Whats happening a Laguna VTwinner???

Before last year the Ducati's were complete .... at Laguna.
Let's see if they return to their past form though I doubt it.

I think Nicky's completly done with that Honda and Laguna will show it.
If he can't be fast there than you know he'll never get any better on that bike.
Would love to see him win again but I am highly skeptical.

Pedro's been quitely fast there and even with the injuries he'll be in the top 5.

I hate predictions but oh well I'll go out on a limb.

1- Red Electronics
2- God
3- Midget
4- Midget's Test .....
5- Gods Test .....
6- MELANDRI!!!!!!!

This race has a few extra variable that will make it interesting.
1-Spies or Hacking?
2- Who's slower than Spies or Hacking?
3- Who will .... up the worst in the the corkscrew this year during practice?
4- Will Spies lap times on the Superbike be faster than the GSV?
5- Will Spies lap times on the superbike be faster than the slowest GP bike?

OOh Melandri 6th? I almost agree and predict a top ten finish. Sure he is going to disappoint though..must be used to it. West to do well also, CV a top 5 but not podium.

Stoner to win undecided on the rest of the podium

Stoner
Rossi
Hopefully Hayden!

but it will be interesting to see how the many rookies on this circuit will do!

Toseland, Dovi, Lorenzo, Alex DeAngelis, they all don´t know Laguna, or?

He rode there as recently as 04, with a 2nd place in race 2.

Do you think this experience will give JT an opertunity to finish top rookie? I'm really unsure about how the rookies will shape up this weekend, but being relatively big, agressive, fearless and on Bridgestone tyres i think DeAngelis might be the best of them. He's on a role

Might be.

But he could be taking teh corkscrew better aggressively than the rookies. Also we dunno yet whether Michelin had improved at all from their last year fiasco in Laguna.
