Hayden to WSBK (Again)?

I have 600cc naked, (converted the U.S. Yamaha ZF6 model to the naked European model), and still who rather watch liter bikes race vs 600.

600's are nice bikes to commute or play in mountains, run the dragon or something like that, but they do lack the ..... The muscle to really get me excited when it comes to racing.
 
Well, I guess it's settled. Nicky will ride another ...... Honda, this time in SBK. I'm not so sure this is really a step backwards. An bad ride in GP isn't really that much better than a bad ride in SBK unless it pays a great deal less which I suspect won't be the case.

MotoGP News - Official: Nicky Hayden swaps MotoGP for World Superbike

Well money wins again....the Fireblade looks like it sucks at the moment so clearly Nicky will have to ride out of skin to win the WSBK title in his 2016 rookie year....

The question then becomes will he see the top step in 2016?
If Guintoli or VdMark is a any measure of then no...Nicky will be lucky to get on the podium at all....
 
We'll have to wait until next year to see but I think Nicky is still head and shoulders above VDM and Ginters in terms of talent... How much is left in the tank to take a .... bike and make something of it though... who knows.
 
I am hoping against hope, but I hope that my hope for Nicky to hopefully smoke the field sees my hopes come true

2016 will be a long season for Nick, under powered bike, Pirelli tires, and steel brakes.
He's a great diesel rider, it's possible he could mix it up at the top in the latter part of 2016.

It's 2015 everybody, if you can't beat the utterly useless knobhead that is redding how are you supposed to beat one of the biggest prospects in racing? Vdm is the shiznit. If I was his manager I'd pull a jim Jacobs and pad his record by trying to get as many journeymen that used to be great as possible on his resume. By the end of next year we'll be talking about the Dutch kid that made two world champions look stupid. It's mike tyson all over again.

Where are they supposed to come from? Didn't know the shiny öhlins forks of a sp would translate into a power gain in the drive train of a sbk spec bike.
Honda ain't gon do jack ..... If anything they'll dumb down (read:increase stroke) on the standard blade and sell a couple of rcv1000s to rich kids that can't ride. None of which will benefit their "efforts" in a class they couldn't care less about

Krops, Nicky has said in the past he does his own deals basically himself, that is no official representation or sport agent, firm, etc. Is this still true.

Regardless of whatever, while two strong riders are on ZX10s, nobody else is gonna sniff anything.

I might as well start my invites now, if anyone (well anyone minus one) is interested in attending Laguna Seca Wsbk next year to watch Nicky...well ride around on the grid and stuff, you are welcome to join me. It will probably be a great party, as I will be as drunk as ever to numb the pain. Migs, even you're invited. Krops, all expenses paid to a free campfire. Little boat Sparrow, you can get dibs in the motorhome. Mick & Dr.No, are u trying to woo me by saying those nice things about Nicky? Ok, it's working, you're invited. If, and that is a big "IF", the rumors are true and Honda gives him an approved CBR for 2017, it may not be the dismal lost track of racing souls that you are expecting..

2016 will be rough, but probably take most of a year to get use the the new bike and riders regardless of the equipment. One year to get use the the bike and new surroundings, then compete for the title in 2017.

Yes, this is a very optimistic out look, but always been a glass half full kind of guy.
 
Oh what the .... jums,now all of the sudden we rate haslam and davies above sykes?the kawi is a good bike no doubt but we both know the reason it appeared as dominant as it did. This wasn't 2003. Rather 2009-2014 being like the ducati gp years 2008-2010

Edit : only 10? I proved you wrong countless times homie. Might have to settle that over some guevara shine. I think lil red,arrabi and willski might back me up on this that my pali is divine. Or at least they were nice enough topretend.

ProClit, i've always rated Leon Handsome very high, and Davies on the mere fact he is Welsh. I'm not ready to have drinks at the pub with Jrea, but let's face it, Jrea/Kawasaki 2016 Champ.

I've never taken any Cali meds, but Lil red can vouche they are stratospheric, I may have to take some to watch Nicky circulate on a pig.
