Stoner will win, Rossi will be one of the other podium places. the other podium man will be American or riding bridgestones, but not both

1. Stoner by 1/2 light year
2. Rossi
3-7. Verme, Spies, Hayden, Edwards, DeAngelis are going to dice hard all race for these positions
8. Capi (he never goes well at Laguna)
9. Nakano
10. Hopper (still injured)
11. Toseland (he should have done better)
Lorenzo, Pedrosa, Westy, Dovi, Melandri, DePuniet, Hacking, Elias, and Guintoli are all lucky to leave Laguna alive.

Last year, didn't Yamaha put out a board to Edwards to slow down to let Rossi take 4th? Otherwise he'd have been 5th. Cannot imagine The Doctor having another non-podium here...
Vermuelen may make a strong statement about his future here, in which case, watch out Rossi! Gonna be damn interesting. If Stoner's in front after 1st turn, expect Rossi to take the fight to him. It's a riders' track so it's surprising the Doctor hasn't won here...

Any chance of rain in the desert? Stoner wins then.
I think thise is a Yamaha race to loose. Stoner might be on a little streak, but those were in cooler, wet races. Laguna is dry and hotter than hell.

Like it was in 07 .... when Stoner put together his best season win?
I've allways thought the fact that it was hot and dry was why Laguna is a good one for Aussies.
