So if Hopper gets on the podium this year will they raise the union flag or stars and stripes?

<
they'll just have to cut a union jack & stars & stripes in half & soe the 2 halves together.
<

a usa flag, but instead of champagne he will throw tea over everyone, & shout ave it!!! id like to see hopper do well this year!

When Hopkins does well he is an "Anglo-American".

When he does poorly he is "American".

It's some sort of Euro bias me thinks.

Born and raised in the US but calls England home. I think the stars 'n' stripes will get rasied but if he had a choice it'd be the Union Jack. Just a guess.

...he'd stand with the Stars and Stripes....
I'm American, but only 2nd generation, Family is Spanish...

funny though, when i .... up or do well i'm still called American.

Didn't mean to offend anyone, not sure if I offended you or not Yam. You know I mean nothing, I like joking with you. But I read a quote from John that said he's only American when he's in America.

oh no worries, i don't get offended all that easy!

they can play "Like a Virgine" as far as i care...i just want to see him on the box!
<

I think it'll be the stars and stripes. I find it amazing too about this good/anglo american bad/american thing so from now on I'll think of him as american.
As if england can produce a rider as good as him at the moment!
Go Hopper!

He'll become one of the all time greats without ever winning a GP.

Talk about over rated. DOH!

SS

Regarding his qualifying - he's looking strong in 6th! There was doubt about whether he'd even start at Qatar after his testing injury a couple of weeks back but he's looking in good shape.

Everyone but John is from England.

He was born from two english parents and raised in the US, his passport will say USA, so that will be his nationality on the netry list. I have always considered him american anyway.

What about JT? In Italy they're saying he's off to Motogp next year, whether he wins the WSB or not. And he's a damn sight cuter than little Bradley
