JEREZ RD2: Predictions, Practice, Qual

Happened 3 mins into Fp2

I dont have video pass

he just very aggressivly overtook rossi as if it was the last corner fighting for the lead.

he was clearly just trying to piss rossi off ,normally i'd denounce such behaviour but then again it wasn't in a dangerous manner and he didn't do it to someone who doesn't do such things himself

i admit i like it,sadly gibbers and stoner never stooped down to that level but lorenzo is fighting fire with fire

Yeah, was pretty funny. Looks like Rossi was trying to follow JLo, but when he came up to him Lorenzo slows down mid corner disrupting Rossi. Commentators start laughing at the shinanigans. It was fairly safe but certainly unsportman like by Jlo as it looked very intentional. I'm sure he was laughin in his helmet.

Doesnt look as if they got within a couple of feet of each other. Who was where heading into the corner, were they at race speed.

Shut up about that sucky ... rider Nicky Hayden already. We all know he sucks, end of story.

Now let's move on to more interesting riders. Rossi seems to be doing pretty good so far, but will his times drop when the Honda's lay down the hammer? In my opinion..... No. In fact, I don't see him finishing the race in the top 5. I believe this is a MUST win for Pedrosa. If he gets beaten by his teammate in front of his home crowd, that would be de-moralizing. Pedrosa needs to stop being a little boy on a motorcycle and be a big boy on the motorcycle and fight with more aggression and tenacity. I've always seen him as a rider missing that x-factor. That x-factor being riding with his heart on his sleeve, being more assertive and aggressive on the race track.

Lorenzo will try his best here but I just don't see him winning this round, though he will podium. It's a toss up between Stoner and Pedrosa who wins this weekend.

I think we are looking at two different incidents. Lorenzo was leading Rossi. Lorenzo slowed and Rossi went past on outside.

EDIT: Opps, yeah, you're right. Same incident.

Have you ever heard the saying 'Dont let your alligator mouth override that hummingbird ...'

Hahahahahaha.... The Doctor is getting a dose of his own medicine !!! I'm starting to like WhoreHey Lorentho more and more now.

Why do I find the silence about JL's dive inside Rossi and the subsequent slowing down mid corner a bit odd?

I thought the forum members are for a very safe GP racing given how Rossi was criticized for his Qatar start

Uhm, read back a page or two.

Dovi looks like crap. He chucked it down the road on his final lap of FP1 in sector 4 where he has been dog slow. Senseless waste of equipment considering it is going to rain on Sunday.

Speaking of Abraham, quite impressive rider, great pace in quatar, even better now.I wonder how fast he will be with some upgrades and a few more races this year.

I get the feeling Stoner is just going fast enough to be on top, capable of going much faster but taking as little risks as possible.Like not being fastest in windy FP2 but topping the sheets of the day anyway, for instance.

Damned! I really thought Lorenzo ,Pedrosa and a few more would be faster. Is Stoner going to win this one too?In that case he will be unstoppable this season.

Good to see Rossi stop complaining and just going fast.He might beat Lorenzo even! Nah,I don't know.

Jumkie I think your quote is from Loris talking about Batista getting a frame he didn't have access to for the last half of 2010. I dont think he mentioned it until the season was over. Yes you are right, If the first guy you have to beat is your teamate it would be nice if you had access to the same machinery because the assumption is you are on the bike. If Ducati are still giving satelite riders factory equipment that means Hayden's bike would not even equal Abraham's. Nicky confirmed in a round about way that he is on the flex bike today by saying its the same bike he had at Qatar. I get your point that this is not testing as usual. If you have a chassis that's as off as Hayden's seems to be why keep using it? At best he is testing for the new bike

1.The quote is none other than Casey Stoner. Speaking in response to the "major revamping & radical changes" coming in what amounts to GP light speed for Valentino's Ducati. He was basically saying, ...., I asked for the same and they didn't deliver, goes to show you what they thought of me.

2. Agree

3. I think Abraham is on last year's bike still, check out the winglets. Nicky is on something that is completely experimental, most likely a combination of testing what may best work for his boss this year and bits of evo for 2012. And why not, Ducati themselves said he is on "the future".

4. Judging from his recent interview, I'd say he's resigned himself to testing. he's got zero power in this game.

5. I think he is testing still for this year's bike, but certainly, some .... is being checked off for next year.

OH shuuuuut uuuuuup already.... jeezus almighty. Chassis as off as Hayden's?.... and how the hell do you know that? The guy sucks man, what's so hard to figure out? And you all know deep down insde he does too. Give it a rest trying to pretend to yourself that he should be futher up the grid when you know damn well he is nothing but an average rider at best. He only got to where he is at because of Honda, so quit playing yourself.

Talking about oh poor Nicky can never catch a break. Oh poor ol' Nicky has always been treated as a 2nd rider. Oh poor Nicky trailer's is not the top of the line model like Rossi's. He should write a thank you letter everyday to Honda as far as I'm concern cuz if not for them he'd be training for the Annual RedNeck Festival rather then MotoGP. So STFU already. Honda supported him and gave everything at their disposal just so this average rider can get to where he's at. He's had the best bike throughout his career but done .... all on it except for eeking out a championship in MotoGP with a measly 2 wins and only becoming champion because Rossi dropped his bike in the last round. I'm really getting sick and tired of people mentioning about this sub-par rider in every freakin' post.

Supersh## Shuuuuuutuuuuup. Do you think that any of us Hayden fans give a .... about your supposedly expert opinion. Honda never did him any favors. The one championship he did win was without honda help. If anything they almost cost him a championship by letting his ..... teamate crash him.

As far as rossi dropping his bike, Awwwww to bad, too much pressure for the doc. Tough .....

Gee wasn't it at the beginning of last year that he finished ahead of the other greatest rider in the world, stoner, how did that happen? Ducati didn't let that last very long.

We all have our favorite rider and we're going to fight for him so get over it.
