What were the weather specifics, track temperature, ambient temperature, wind speed, direction, etc.?

Just a fantastic race. Dovi to his credit broke form and went for it. The win at Austria was supposed to happen, I really thought he would settle for losing only 5 points and live to fight at PI and Sepang. I fully expected Marquez to win this race, especially with the dominance he showed during the weekend and his run of late. Now Dovi has him thinking and we will see how he handles championship pressure, something he really hadn't had to deal with in previous title years 13-14 and 16. Vinales is done and can only dream about what might have been if the tires and chassis he was winning with were not snatched away. I'm pulling for Marquez but if Dovi pulls it off , it will be good for the sport and I certainly will be happy for him. I really wish Dani had a decent race to put some distance between him and Rossi. He still has 2 tracks that he excels on and will be the wildcard in the championship. If the weather is right in Sepang and Valencia, he could find himself being the difference in a positive or negative title run for his teammate. Can't wait for PI, Marquez has been fairly dominant but doesn't have the record to show for it. He has to recognize drops in temp when and if it happens and simply cannot throw a good finish down the road. Dovi has to make headway in the next 2 races and really needs a lead going into Valencia which will favor Marquez and the Honda.

During the post race presser Dovi said that Marquez is the best at playing with other riders. Because English is his second(or third?) language I was wondering if he means playing as in toying with them or playing as in playing a sport ie like you play football. Can anybody confirm this for me?

I know we give Oxley a lot of .... for pandering to Rossi and his fans but I thought his questions about the Michelin front tyres locking up made for some really great answers.

Gaz, Krops suggest the onboard clip after the finish line on Dovi and Marquez cam. He said, "very revealing". Since I dont have MotoGP subs..that would be helpful

More than likely he meant from the psychological stand point. Mind games.

Krops was referring to the contrasting emotions from the two riders displayed on the on-board camera. Dovi, normally a modest guy was fist pumping with joy, causing him to even miss his braking point after the finish; whilst Marc was sulking, then half heartedly waved to the crowd. His point was to highlight the meaning each rider assigned to this result as a reflection of their emotion.

For anyone who's didn't watch the Australian broadcast, they had Jack Miller doing a video chat. One thing I found really interesting was that when asked about Vinales drop in results Miller spoke about the new front and how Vinales, like himself couldn't get a good feeling from the new front. This really backs up what Redding said about some voting for the new tyre because they figured it was going to happen anyway.
