Is now the time to march Dani to the gallows?

Johnny Rea did ok last time out on the Factory Honda.

He really didn't do very well at all. Sure sure, first time on a GP bike, w.e., IDC, his results weren't very good.

8th at Misano, as in, the last of the prototype bikes.

7th at Aragaon, the last of the Hondas and Yamahas.

It's too early in the season to say anything really. I think Pedrosa will be a very big threat to the title this year. As will Lorenzo, and maybe even Marquez and Rossi. Not a lot has changed since Pedrosa won 7 out of 18 races last year.

I was kidding.

But given that we are talking about Johnny Rea, the fact that the bike didn't end up in the stands practically makes him the Motogp Goat.

Does it really matter? Much to the chagrin of a lot of you guys they'll probably pick another Spaniard when Pedders is dumped.

Well it seems they have by far the best system of developing their young talent. It's like a production line at the moment. You have to hand it to them. They have done an outstanding job of nurturing talent.

I say he needs to go he has had more then enough time Dovi out performed him his last year and if stoner never retired he would have been replaced they should give the ride to cal or bradl

Dovi outperformed him? Don't remember that at all.

Who would you propose they give Hayden's ride to while we're discussing being outperformed by Dovi.

Jonny Rea for life.

2011 Sloth, 3 factory Honda's, Spencer, Peddles and Dovi. Pedrochio finished below both of them in the championship.

Ok, Dovi beat him in the championship standings. But only one of them was ever a championship contender. I don't think Dovi 'outperformed' Pedrosa.

Dani is destined to be the next Randy Mamola IF he can manage to develop a sense of humour. To be fair is there really another rider out there that could do a better job on the Honda than Dani who isn't already on a factory machine?

He is nowhere near as talented as Randy and how would we know if there is anyone who could do better when he has hogged that ride for 7 years.

You must be the king of current affairs as Randy is at every race mentoring a few riders including his son, now i know you know .... all.

And yet I know Pedrosa is more talented than Mamola ever was, and I know why Pedrosa has not been "sent to the gallows".

.......

Ohhh bless you can ridicule my opinion on Randy/pedro just to boost your'e own ego but still don't know any genuine facts about the current MGP paddock. As i said you are the king of current affairs.

Of course he's nowhere near as talented as Randy, I meant from the point of view of always being the bridesmaid (runner-up) and never the bride (champion).

So Dovi won the championship last year? I must have missed that...

Or if you are meaning 2011, I don't remember Dovi winning any races... head to head Pedrosa beat him as often as was behind him. Missing 4 races through injury (one DNF and 3 DNS) and one through the death of Simoncelli put him 9 points behind at the end of the season.

Pedrosa 2011 3-4-2

Dovizioso 2011 0-4-3

I don't see how you parse that into Dovizioso outperforming him. He did end up with 9 more points at the end of the season, but he did finish 5 more races than Pedrosa.
