But since your arrival you have insisted on questioning other members education, their comprehension of English, and correcting their spelling and grammar.
Have I? Perhaps it is your interpretation.
Yet another supposed engineering expert - you're in good company.
I never made that claim. Again, your interpretation.
Why the raw nerve? Mellow out my friend. If you persist in posting in the scathing, supercilious and sanctimonious style that you are prone to doing then don't expect others on here to pander to your obvious sensitivities.
And yet if you met me not one of those adjectives would be on your mind, I'm sure. No raw nerve. Someone stated, sarcastically, scathingly? That they doubted I was an engineer. As it happens, I am. I corrected them on their incorrect assumption and promptly I am the one being a big-head?
I guess you have to be in the right club.
And no, I don't have a need to be pandered to. Perhaps it's the language. I spend most of my life writing technical stuff, very little 'casual' correspondence. If my posts come across as sanctimonious or preachy, i will work on that. It isn't my normal manner - I'm more of the drunk mischievous buddy that makes sure you get in trouble with your wife... or does something to your bike while you aren't looking.
I do know a lot of stuff, but it's more of the 'Have a look at this!' rather than 'Did you know?' variety.
Most wouldn't stoop so low to advertise their supposed education on an internet racing forum.
I didn't - I responded to : "With all due respect I doubt you are an engineer"
Nothing supposed about my education. I worked hard for it. Why shouldn't I be comfortable with that?
