A. Lorenzo won his third race. Biaggi won his first race
B. In 2006, there were FEWER bikes capable of winning. After all, as Rossi recently admitted in an interview with MCN (up on Youtube), he had half a second on anyone else. In 2006 there was only Rossi capable of winning, so the achievements of Pedrosa and Stoner were also "in a depleted field", by your own logic.
C. Marquez was being polite at Qatar. Next time, he will simply barge people aside. The first person he will barge aside will probably be his teammate, at which point Puig's head will explode with rage, while yours explodes as it tries to deal with the paradox of a rider you hate pulling a move you hate on a rider you hate even more.
D. Have you considered watching Korfbal?
Did you count to 10 then reply, or was it just one of the 'double' posts that you exploited? You're so hard to gauge, know that I err on the side of the dry humor your expats back on the motherland are known for.. Krops, I accept I have a peculiar perspective about the MotoGP.
A. Errr, I knew I should have looked back to make sure. Thanks for the correction, got it. Funny because I've been using this as part of the cornerstone of many arguments, now I'll have to re-ajust them all...Ok, Lorenzo didn't win his 2nd race, he won his 3rd.
B. Ok, this one has me confused. There were MORE than 4 race winners in 2006, from three different manufactures including satellites, so how can anybody say there were "fewer bikes capable of wining"? Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Pedrosa debut in 2006? Didn't he come 2nd in his first race? Pedrosa and Casey had to compete in a field were on any given event, Either of the 2 Ducatis, 2 factory Yamahas, 2 Hondas, 3 Sat Hondas, .... even 1 KRs bike almost won one had it not been for a brain fart: that makes 10 bikes capable of wining! Where do you get "fewer bikes capable of wining"?
C. I accept and agree. I don't think "polite" but rather "composed" and I'd also go with "surreal" and a bit of "star struck". And with good reason, though I hope you are right, as long as he "barges" the riders who deserve it (by my count, that is one, VR). Btw, I don't hate Marquez, you mistake not worshiping him like you for "hate". No worries, its happened to me before, at one time a few peeps tallied me into the "i hate stoner' column, weird, I know, but it really did happen. The times I've talked trash about Marc has been his epic fails and dangerous riding in Moto2. In addition, I have talked trash about race direction who turned a blind eye to Marc's dangerous riding while others have been penalized for less, and when they finally did sanction him, it was embarrassingly weak. I also talked trash of Marc's handlers, the adults in the room who were partially responsible for Marc's .... ups. And of course, I accused the team of cheating, and guess what, so have others in a much better position than me to lodge the same complaint. If you equate this with "hating" Marc, then you are not as smart as I think. Oh and yes, I really do dislike (if you want to call it hate, I'll accept it) Pedrosa and his handler Alberto Puig. Because they actively tried to .... over Nicky in one way or another. I don't have any knowledge of Marc trying to .... over fellow competitors other than trying to run them off the track or forced enemas, the difference being I don't think the kid's intent came from a place as dastardly and loathsome as Puig's machinates or Pedro's arrogance. My contention with you regarding Marc is that he isn't the second coming of Jesus, hes good, but for me about as good as (albeit a younger version of) Pedro, Lorenzo and Stoner when they were promoted.
D. Yes, looks fun.
