Well that was BBBBBOOOOOOORRRRRRIIIIINNNNNNGGGG!!!

Lorenzo runs away with it by miles.

Two things are needed:

1. Stoner should come back to run with Jorge.

or

2. Marquez needs to get up to speed faster.

Though something tells me that the Honda 1000 is not he bike that the Yam is.

And the Duc.!!! Dovi on the Duc. convinces me that there really is a problem with VSG's ( and the Honda to a much lesser extent ). Dovi, not a slouch by any means on a wet slippery surface, looked like he was fighting a warm needle on dry ice.

Valentino Still Goat?

If it had been Stoner - he'd have done the same - but he'd have won by a much greater margin - and you wouldn't have been bored. You'd be crowing. What was boring was the person directing the camera persons and the online editing. We missed too much of the fighting at the middle whilst looking at Lorenzo's butt - and where were the crashes?

Lorenzo might have won the race by a good margin, but the battle behind him was well worth watching and the part where Marquez and Rossi were trading places was very interesting I thought. Now I know I'm not a fully seasoned fan yet but I found it well worth watching.

I liked how you could almost see Marquez wondering whether or not to overtake his team mate, then he suddenly decided 'what the hell?' and went for it. Yep, I enjoyed it :)

Kesh, I think you may have missed BM's point about the race being "boring".

Marca had this nice picture of these two up.  5 years between the pictures!!

Anything is possible. BM blows hot and cold, making it sometimes difficult to know when he's tongue in cheek.

I thought MM acquitted himself very well in the race, and rode a mature and measured race. Very different from all the predictions, including my own.

One of these two is going to punt the other of eventually.

All posters will be taken down. :)

Just wait until he gets more confident on the bike, and stops playing it safe sitting cozy behind his teammate for half the race. Wait until he gets into torpedo mode like last year, attempting to pass half the field in the first corner.

I doubt he will ever need to pass half the field into any corner. There might be one or two fast guys in front of him occasionally.

Not for long though once this boy works it out he's gone

He didn't crash out and got a podium in his first start, no negatives to that. Hopefully he'll stay incident free his first year (who knows with him though).

So, explanations for Marquez' results? 1200cc engine, surely? Or illegal Repsol fuel maybe? I know, custom-made Bridgestones. That's it.

Nope he just finished 3rd out of 4.  You could say the result was poor because he finished in the bottom half of the field.
