Give it a little time and it will do it by it's self

Unfortunately he will come back bigger and stronger after his learning curve,

Then it will be unstoppable .

you strike 2 out of 3 andy, its just too much. i can see the benefit/good effect of having a couple of what i consider good guys in law enforcement but the only good marquez fan is a ....you get it.

@ deal : thank god we meet at wsbk so we can concentrate on praising 65 and sticking our thumbs up each others butts. couldn't do a gp with a marquez fan.

Once upon a time there was a man called Kenny Roberts,he came to europe to take on the grand prix elite,he came with an abundance of talent and a good bike,he took the title in his rookie year,MM is at least that talented and he is on the best bike and he knows the tracks,its very possible he will do the same.

joking aside,if a rookie can win the title without superior machinery something is very wrong with the level of the grid.

if marquez wins it this year already it will make not only pedrosa but also lorenzo,rossi and even stoner look stupid.

i don't care for my heros looking as bad as the whole sbk grid in 2009.call me crazy/hater or wtf ever but if marquez is the undisputed king of motorcycling it will mark the first time in almost 20 years i'll become less excited about racing

nothing wrong with the level of the field as they are the best in the world but MM is better

and if thats the case i'm back to four wheels and amateur racing :lol:

there can only be a certain percentage of psychopaths and deserters among the world champions across the categories before i'm turned off watching the big leagues instead of going to the track on weekends. the reason i kept watching and still wasting much too much time on motogp in the last years of mostly rather dull racing was that i became convinced that the current crop are probably as good as anybody ever was,if not better.if they all look stupid i feel stupid. i become stroppy when i feel stupid.

It's a bit like stocks. You bought Apple when they were a risky proposition at 10c and they can make you millions when they jump up to $400.

Kenny Roberts is 10c Apple stock.

Marquez is like 2013 Apple stock. You buy it now, it makes for a reasonably good investment, more than keeping pace with inflation, but never again to be that 4000% gain.

When Kenny came to GP he brought a whole new bag of tricks. Marquez is bringing nothing new other than an exceptional amount of skill at riding bikes.

If you transported Marquez to 1990 and stuck him in the AMA, he would probably have the same effect Kenny did on Yurop.

He rode an intelligent race IMO - perhaps waited a little too long to pass Pedrosa and allowed Rossi to gte close, but far better than a lot of the paddock was expecting - no gravel and not coming even close to cuasing an accident. Bodes well for his season and hopefully for the racing.

Well that was BBBBBOOOOOOORRRRRRIIIIINNNNNNGGGG!!!

Lorenzo runs away with it by miles.

Two things are needed:

1. Stoner should come back to run with Jorge.

or

2. Marquez needs to get up to speed faster.

Though something tells me that the Honda 1000 is not he bike that the Yam is.

And the Duc.!!! Dovi on the Duc. convinces me that there really is a problem with VSG's ( and the Honda to a much lesser extent ). Dovi, not a slouch by any means on a wet slippery surface, looked like he was fighting a warm needle on dry ice.
