Sorry andy, talented though he may be, I am going for any of rossi, lorenzo and pedrosa against him, given that all three seem to have some concern about injuring other riders. Then again, I went for proust against senna.

Just compare all those world titles and  years of mgp experience that are Rossi,Jorge and Pedders against a new boy on his third test on a new to him machine and look how far ahead he is,do you think they wanted to finnish behind him? i dont and do you think they were blagging? i dont and will MM just get better the more he works out how this very complex bike works? history says yes.As Jum said they must be in a state of complete shock.

I didn't say he wouldn't win, just that I would prefer others to do so.

And there's your problem, picking an asthmatic, closeted, garret dwelling author against a god-bothering Formula 1 driver.

OR...

It could be that Nakamoto ensured that Farquez had an almost empty tank, while Dani had the full 21 litres and shagged tyres...it's a test session, after all...Just to keep Caramello off his back, Repsol happy, some good data and the press slavering.

OR...

MM is causing a goodly level of sphincter pucker in the aforementioned riders.

Probably the latter.

What about honda having a V-90 engine barry?

If its true ...... it could explain a lot.

ie. Why did the Honda 2012 not seem the runnaway that the 2011 did?

Why is it not as bad as the Duc.?

Honda may have the cylinder bank tilted back and moved back more around the centre of turning of the bike..

I still maintain that Ducati going big bang makes the problem worse exponetially.

A cylinder virtually pointing forwards way away from the centroid of the bike is bad if you want to turn the bike big bang or not.

and last but not least. Possibly Yamaha know all this and thats why they stick to and inline 4.

Unfinished story if you ask me.

Its all about the VSG's ........

Ducati have supposedly tilted the engine back, now they need to go back to screamer, they even have a rider who is used to that ( Dovi ).

oh and PS ............. Go Marky!!!

I am actually with you barry on the 2010 ducati. Whatever they did, it seriously changed the bike for the worse, and going big bang was one of the biggest changes, perhaps  the biggest.

Umm, Bridgestone and Uncle Carmelo.... And In the second half of the season when Honda figured out the new tire they dominated the Yams. Were you not watching when Stoner was out?

Prost - now there was a proper psychopath!

Dying to see MM in real races this year... so much can happen... soooo much more than testing... Really, really hoping that the top four will be a toss-up at every round... Bring it on!

Gone,  along with the snowdens (and the snows as well, although I wasn't aware of the original quotation).

This thread needs more Marquez and less everything else.

Also, I think we can add N.Hayden as a fanboy to the freight train that is Team #93.

<span style="color:rgb(76,85,99);font-family:arial;text-align:justify;"I don't think anybody doubted that he was going to be fast," said the American. "When you are fast, you are fast."

<span style="color:rgb(76,85,99);font-family:arial;text-align:justify;"I would say to be quite this quick and even so consistently quick this early wasn't expected and for some of us riders, we aren't so pumped on it."

<span style="color:rgb(76,85,99);font-family:arial;text-align:justify;"He has been very, very impressive and very fast, in a bit of his own style."

<span style="color:rgb(76,85,99);font-family:arial;text-align:justify;"And he could be a game-changer to MotoGP and all of road racing."
