Gosh, I didn't realize it was a personal thing ..... perhaps your realaytionship with Nicky goes deeper than people know?

So would you have more respect for a rider who makes a bit more progress then falls off? All racers at this level have a huge desire to win, but if it outweighs the riders actual pace and inteligence then decent results will be rare. Nicky had some troubles in the second half of 2006, but he kept it together and stayed head strong and importantly stayed on his bike. I find that quite remarkable myself considering the situation. So perhaps Hayden wasn't willing to take what was ultimately unnecessary risks to win races, but rather he had an excellent grasp of the bigger picture, and ultimately got the reward. If thats not something that impresses you then fair enough i guess, but i remain sure that hayden rode like a champion in 2006 and he got it done.

You crack me up mate… In fact, let’s start arguing or agreeing on something for ’08: Should we go back a 500cc? Should there be more TV coverage? Will Dunlops do better?

I know all these are dull, it’s not like us, let me put in a spicy one: Should Honda still back up Hayden’s ’08 contact?

<

PS. It’s all a joke Tom, don’t get angry at me!

there are so many better riders ,like hopkins or melandri ,who IMO deserve a better bike..

bayliss lead more laps first than hayden last year and he just raced once..

Ok, I'm sure you read my rebuttal on the Casey thread. So I'm assuming your “Pot calling the kettle black" must have been you talking in the mirror, eh?

If you want to play, don't get all sensitive later and go crying foul that people are insulting you.

We are all trading banter as you can see, so play if you want, but please leave the self-righteous and the “I’m so educated and speak multiple languages" on the shelf. Yeah?

If that’s cool, then lets play, if not then take it like a grown up. “If you live in a glass house, don’t throw rocks.”

Sense? You type with so much emotion that you don't make much sense. In yer mind (from what I've seen) it's ALL about hating a rider if you critisize them or thier ability. When I don't agree then you feel the need to degrade my name?

Who REALLY needs to have it dumbed down?

Maybe I would. Like I've said before. For me I want to cheer for that guy that gets my blood going, you know, EXCITEMENT. The guy you see who wants it more than the next guy. He just will not settle, shows no quit. I like Elias for that reason as I've seen some of that from him last year. Falling off has been happening alot less than it did on the 500's because of the wider powerbands.
You wonna talk about troubles to justify why Nicky didn't win but ignore that Rossi had all kinds of troubles with chassis and tires to the point that Edwards would comment that he didn't know how Vale could ride it that fast. Yes, they did get it fixed but it was one DNF to late.
Common sense says that when yer lead is being chipped away by one of the all time greats that you don't just hope that everything goes yer way by being cautious you make sure it does by doing everything you can make sure it does. Did you see that through yer #69 replica Oakley's? I didn't, I saw a guy making laps to finish.
Getting it done may get you awards but it doesn't make you a winner. Winners win, that's how they get it done.

Thanks for being so considerate Rog. I can't imagine the .... storm you must have felt when your boy went gravel surfing. That really explains why there have been so many hater remarks, I see most you just can’t let it go and are still "pissed" as you say. I wonder how long it will take for you guys to get over that?
