I read last week that Nicky sold the BMW he won for best qualifier of 2006, & divided the money amongst his mechanics. Say what you want (I do) but that is a super seriously cool thing to do.

yes that is a wonderful thing to do,props to him for that, rossi also did that a couple of seasons ago.

I'm thinking it's not the act of an ego maniac, fair play to the man.

thats fair enough, i guess it comes down to preference

it all comes down to our view on things i guess, i personally would say that Hayden is one of the most down to earth people on the grid ... Vermeuelen, Capirossi and Checa all the same.

Did I mention Rossi's drive or does the truth hurt so much that he has to be thrown into the mix because he has it?

Yer killing me with hater stuff .... when a racer (any racer in my book) will settle, and yes, what I saw was someone who settled, for top 10 finishes to guard a lead (while that lead is being chipped away) is not someone I consider to have the desire to WIN. If that hurts yer feeling and makes me a hater of your boy, then well, yer still wrong.

Hey Tom,
Sure I'm in the position to question the desire of the rider awarded the world title ... it's a message board .... anyone in here can question that and much more.
