All of Rossi’s significant rivals have been vilified, particularly those who have won titles against him, even Nicky Hayden, although mainly confined to discrediting his championship rather than his character in his case, by large multiple orders of magnitude more than Rossi has been vilified, which by your own account is apparently confined to 5 or 6 circle jerkers on here.

You yourself vilify current riders in Márquez and Lorenzo constantly, and past riders such as Stoner and Biaggi when their names come up or sometimes spontaneously.

Again, it is you who seems both to have difficulty understanding simple sentences in English and who moves immediately to (primary) schoolboy personal insults when anyone disagrees with the drivel you post.

I didn’t say all Rossi fans vilified all of his rivals, just that there has been much more vilification of Rossi’s rivals than there has been of him, which is fairly indisputable, and despite this you personally take issue with posters on this forum, not particularly successfully I might add, and seemingly can’t tolerate even a small body of opinion which dissents from yours.

I constantly acknowledge Rossi’s quality as a rider in his heyday, and that it is remarkable that he is still as good as he is myself, my dispute is with his character which has been starkly revealed imo in his later career, and that is always a matter of opinion, and certainly your opinion, that of a person who likely couldn’t even spell intellectual rigour/rigour is not one I feel obliged to take any note of in regard to the matter. You certainly have showed scant respect for Lorenzo with 5 titles and Stoner with two, Max Biaggi with 4 in GP bike racing and even less for MM with 6, who may well be even better than Rossi.

If you don’t like being treated as what others on this forum call a bopper, then perhaps you could try not acting like one. It is particularly amusing to see you and others going along with the current Rossi narrative when rivals of his have been vilified by Rossi fans for similar complaints and behaviour to his current complaints and behaviour.

I have disliked Lorenzo since the 250s, long before he was Rossi’s teammate because of who he is. But still i have recently said that I hope that he gets a ride at Suzuki so that he can be himself again.

I also have several posts here where I have acknowledged Marquez’s talent. But he is a prick on the track and I support the punishments he got and will continue to get if he continues the behavior.

And I gave you the benefit of the doubt that you were just having fun doing a little casual trolling initially, with which I had not too much problem, but you can’t seem to make up your mind whether you are serious or not. If your outrage is confected you have certainly wasted a lot of your own time time confecting and expressing it.

Perhaps you really are a genius, although no posts of yours to date have disclosed any evidence of same, because you would have to be both smart and obsessed to never break out of character when delivering your frequent witless personal insults.

(EDIT. David Emmett once participated semi - regularly in this forum, and for a long time most considered him close to the fairest “journalists” in the sport.

Everyone understands he needs to make a living, but you might as well read the Dorna press releases as motomatters these days. What finished him for me and I believe several others was the petty and malicious hatchet job he did on Danny Kent, for which there was no necessity which I could discern).

Agree. The bully boy nonsense about Maga Krav kind of fit tho, since Rog was, if I properly recall, teaching martial arts. Besides somehow, I can't picture Rog moving to Italy.

Funny that... I worked and lived in Chinatown for 10 years. I taught music and recording workshops at a place whose main mission was getting gang kids off the streets and into schools. We use to rent out our big space to different Kung Fu schools for exhibitions. I got to know a lot of guys who were serious practitioners and the guys who they all acknowledged as the most proficient, were always really mellow and soft-spoken; never the bragging doofus types looking for fights in bars.

No, he was an ex racing mechanic who was as opposed to you actually a knowledgeable long term fan of the sport. I mostly was able to overlook his dislike of Stoner and other Rossi rivals because he was a Rainey, Schwantz and Doohan fan, and when he and his greatest opponent on the forum met they became best friends, an unlikely eventuality in your case I would have thought.

As if peurile schoolboy insults from a pipsqueak such as you would at all disturb any adult’s emotional equilibrium, btw. Perhaps oddly, I don’t find being called Mitchell particularly devastating.

David Emmett was once a semi-regular participant on this forum and also known to lift the odd topic for his blog, and was accorded fairly general respect. People appreciate he has to make a living, but there is little to differentiate motomatters from the Dorna press releases these days, and I and others took exception to the petty and malicious hatchet job he did on Danny Kent a year or two ago, for which no necessity was obvious.
