Has there been changes to the tires since Le Mans? Do you think Pol and Bradley are getting more support from Yamaha than Lorenzo? Pol was a half second faster than Lorenzo.

Qualifying is starting in about an hour. If Lorenzo doesn't make it out of Q1, there are some real problems going on in his head.

MM has switched to MM as his previous #1 has slowed down a fair bit.

Not really. Since you guys are glorying in Lorenzo being behind VR so far in this round (if not the championship) having won 3 championships since 2009 when VR last won same, I was pointing out a "fact" or "facts" since you seem guys seem so fond of them ie that MM is actually leading VR by over 40 points in the championship and was 1st rather than 4th on the time sheet in the aforementioned FP3 as far as I could tell.

Bro, I didn't even bring up VR. I made a post about JL doing so poorly in FP3 that he missed going straight into Q2 for the first time in his career (unless I'm mistaken). You're the one talking about VR & MM comparisons, I guess hoping to direct attention away from a potential JL meltdown. Maybe he is sandbagging and will get down to business in qualifying??

What is it with the yellow fraternity?

Every time a rider struggles (with ONE exception and guess that exception) it is a meltdown.

JL is struggling and suspicion could be a number of reasons but meltdown is not one that I would even consider to offer but hey, let us all speculate until the cows come home

My post was originally poorly expressed and I changed it before you had posted a reply.

We both know that was really what you were on about anyway, and you yourself jumped to a conclusion that I had switched my support to MM.

And yes Jorge can be a sensitive soul and is probably affected by the conclusion he has, I believe entirely correctly, drawn that his current team would prefer his team-mate to win this year and would have preferred this last year as well. You may not have noticed, but he has elected as the defending champion to move from a team for whom he has won 43 races to a team that hasn't won a race since the 2010 season.

I said potential meltdown. If he can't make it out of Q1, he obviously has major issues and it started back in Catalunya. FP4 & Q1 is about to start, the track should be even warmer than the FP3 session this morning so lets see if JL has found more confidence and pace.

He doesn't need pace, he just needs to be faster than 12 others (same as VR/DP have done previously as this then gets him to Q2

We should also not lose sight of the FACT that Michelin have bought a new asymetrical front tyre, the results of which for a number of riders seems to have included RSI being caused to the flag and recovery marshalls at T11 such were the visits to the gravel.

Jorge being one of those who crashed, injuring his wrist I believe.

And as MV's initiating post about the lack of comment concerning Jorge's form in FP3 implied no excuses were being made for him previously by his partisans, btw.

Keep an eye on Iannone, he is in really good form.

Thing is, this gets said every race (he is still my favourite to pickup a Ducati win at PI this year) but sadly the need to keep an eye on him has taken on other meanings this year (but based on some of his reported mutterings his ego sure has not taken any hits)

I am really impressed with how seriously JLo is taking Ducati race weekend simulation. Two races in a row he chose to partake in Q1.

Lorenzo down HARD in Q1, but he should still make it into Q2.

He went down in turn 8, but is ok. He is into Q2, Cal missed out on bumping JL out.

Just some more Ducati simulations being run at Yamaha's expense.

"Alright mate get some red helmets and chuck it down the road mate."

"What!?! I no understand? "

"Two reasons mate. One its very important that you get used to tucking the front end. Secondly, its a great reason to yell at your pitcrew."

"You are so wise Casey."

And yet Stoner won 23 of the 31 races Ducati have won in total, and their only title, and they have not only re-engaged him as a test rider but did not seem unkeen on the idea of him coming out of retirement to race for them again.
