Four races, 3 1/2 different men win...

Rossi had his share of trouble getting the setup for b.stones right. Take your pill.

I think track conditions at china were certainly very different than last year. I don't think stoner has ridden on so-called "hard" tyres at all this year, on which as far as I recall he had all or almost all of his dry track victories last year.

I think it is conceivable that dorna might try to mandate a quasi control tyre, but not likely that they could keep it secret for even this long as too many people would have to be "in the know" leading to inevitable rapid disclosure of such a secret.

The only track with anything close to similar conditions were Jerez, where Stoner had a similar result as last year.

I predict a podium finish for Tousland, don't know where or when but I can feel it in my bones. Maybe not this weekend, maybe not this season, but before the next decade.

Is that a bit too vague??

This is a pretty big list of circumstances beased on massive leaps of faith and almost no evidence. Have you considered the considerably more likely theory that Michelin have improved while Ducati are struggling for setup a bit. There is even evidence to support this.

Thank you for placing the keystone in my argument. Bridgestone have changed the 08 compound and it is significantly different than the 2007 tire. Whatever Bridgestone runners were relying on in the past is now gone. The Bridgestone running teams didn't screw up their chassis dynamics, they've had the tire changed out from under them.

It may as well be written in stone. Dorna are manipulating the individual race results and they've spoken with the tire manufacturers to normalize compound construction.

OK, I give up, you can twist any situation with your assumptions,

1. i think lap times show stones are not worse but michilin are better this year. track temp plus a hundred more variables make this evidence circumstantial.

2.who said they have been outlawed ? when were they outlawed ? stoner used then in quatar so why has he not been disqualified ?

3.how does this reinforce dorna are manipulating race results with tyres ?

4.you imply they are favouring rossi yet in #3 you say they manipulated the result where stoner won

5.that comment is arrogant, everybody is wrong except you.

are you just trolling here by any chance ?

Because, if he was serious about even half of the verbal diarrhea he spouts, you'd have to assume that his computer chair has a built in John Holmes-sized dildo, plugged into the mains and oscillating faster the the RPMs Ducati get out of their engine, and with the words 'Pompous' 'Sanctimonious' and 'Smug' etched on the shaft ('ribbed for his pleasure')...

This conspiracy .... really deserves to be in the bin. Again, the Rossi fans are the "fanboys" but anyone else can spout whatever ..... they like. Last year Stoner evidently had no tyre or bike advantage, Rossi was just .... and or past it or never actually had it. He was just lucky that the oposition were ..... This year, Dorna are poisoning Casey's boot polish, and we are all being taken in by their evil actions.

I'm sure this post will be taken as "flaming" or "fishing" by some on here, but hey, I'm unlikely to loose sleep over it, the hypocrisy that get spouted on this forum really amazes me.

Anyhoo, Rising Son's "John Holmes size dildo" comment made me laugh out loud, and that what makes this place so good to hang oot.

Stoner says the new tires suck and they don't work for him or his bike. He seems to think Rossi is to blame, but it is probably bigger than that. The tires suck on the time sheets too. Stoner hasn't been quick or comfortable on B-stone's new race rubber. He wins the first race by a country mile, but B-stone hasn't given him the '07 spec to run again. Hmmmmmmmm?

Capi also says B-stone mysteriously lack edge grip and he's having to lay the suzuki onto the tarmac to make it go round bends.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE <div class='quotemain'>Please show us a quote, and how could Stoner run the '07 tires at quater if they are outlawed?

I'm implying that DORNA are doing things under the table. Why are you asking for a quote? The only thing I have is good circumstantial evidence. DORNA let B-stone give Casey the 07 spec so he could have a strong showing/win at Qatar.

No quote, but I'll one up you. Since I know how things are working I will predict that Stoner runs the '07s a handful of times this year. B-stone will say they are struggling with the new compound and it is difficult to accommodate the teams.......blah blah blah. What they mean is, DORNA have allowed us to give Casey the 07s a handful of times b/c even Ezy can't completely screw over the old champ. Besides MGP will lose the Aussie market if Ezy screws Stoner. Bayliss is looking good these days.

Rossi (who was present at the tire meetings because he was obviously part of the negotiating process) knew the tires would be different this season and that both brands would work similarly. This explains why he would choose to run his old Michelin setup even after months of testing. Why else would Rossi run a soft front/medium rear? Hard work, my .... Rossi/Burgess were sold to B-stone so B-stone would sign off. They same way they were sold to Yamaha to keep MGP from becoming the Honda Cup.
<
They run B-stones well because Yamahas are designed to spend less time on the side of the tire. Perfect for a company that has lost its prototype edge compound.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE <div class='quotemain'>It's a pretty arrogant statement that we all are incompetent. What in the world make you belive that any secret regulation like this could be kept under the lid?

Rules like this are standard fare. WSBK is noble enough to publish them, probably because they race production machines. They occur with regularity in F1 and Eccy plays a role (albeit small) in MotoGP.

Like I said yesterday, people used to get burned at the stake for saying DORNA gave preference to riders from certain markets or that DORNA had a working agreement with F1 to stagger race dates. Turns out its all true.

The reason you and everyone else thinks these ideas are nonsense is b/c you have conveniently glossed over the serious crisis the sport was in. Ezy didn't announce a crisis so naturally you didn't think there was one.

Anyone who can read between the lines knows when all the manufacturers, the FIM, DORNA, and Rossi (WTF?) are called into a prolonged unscheduled meeting, there are storm clouds on the horizon.

Excuse me for saying you were incompetent. I mean to say you have a glorious lack of clairvoyance.

Yes, his name is Stoner and everyone is so used to him whinging that no one has noticed he's making some odd complaints this year.

Yes there are many inferences and logical leaps of faith I suppose. But my position is a rock compared to the people who believe the tire rules are being administered about the same as they were last year.

Yes but unfortunately I don't can't link motogp to a return to the 990s so there is nothing I can do about that. Control tires help Hayden. The custom one-offs Michelin used to make never could stand up to his abuse. This new 08 rubber allows him to get faster as the race goes on.

My posts are quite good thank you, even if you believe they should be found in the fiction section.

Let's see last year I said Honda built the bike for Pedrosa over and over and over to the consternation of the peanut gallery. Then Honda held a press conference and said "we got it wrong and we built the bike for Pedrosa. It was the wrong thing to do". Tanaka is gone and they have this guy who bangs on about team work.

Last year I said it was obvious that Michelin were going to get more tire sets. I said it about a month before the meeting. Blah blah blah, you think you know everything blah blah. Then they got more tires.

Then I said Honda took the 2008 chassis from Nicky at Qatar b/c Peders binned his beyond repair when he tried to inspect Rossi backside. Two weeks later Nicky says he can't comment on the decisions that were made but that he wasn't happy. Translation: he got screwed like a Barbara Streisand drag queen in the gay pride parade.

My track record speaks for itself.
