Damn, I posted the good news in the Lounge and here you already had an entire thread. .... me.

YEAH! GOOD NEWS PEOPLE, ROGER IS COMING OVER FOR DINNER. Now maybe us Yanks can get some credibility around here. Perhaps you can relay the message in the Queen's English that our GP does NOT suck!

Who else is interested? (Or you gonna wait for the report from the horse's mouth).

Hi Bonnie. Haven’t had the pleasures of exchanging posts with you, but after his trip we'll be pals. Hope some day you can make the trip across the pond. You have a house here. Don’t worry about Rog; he will be taken care of well.

(Sssh, our little secret, I know you are thrilled to finally have some peace and quiet during that weekend, hahaha).

Not sure if this is where I'm meant to stick this topic so shout at me if it's not.

Are any of you going to Donnington this year?? It will be my first year there and the first time i've watched Motogp. Ive had to drag a friend along - who never been into bikes just so someone else is in my tent at night. Anyway where is the best place on the track (not literally) to get a really good view ie see the riders in at least two places. Ive been to cadwell a couple of times to see my co workers nephew ride and she showed me where the best spot is, we got to see the straight from the start, the ride up the first hill and then few minutes later the riders in front of us as they go up the hill infront of the grandstand. Not that i will still sat on my ... for long anyway and my mate can bugger off and go shopping if she pleases hahahaha. Is anyone on here going from Lincolnshire? (where i now live) or Yorkshire??

Have a great day guys

Donny is a great spectators track. Coppice infield or Craners. Outfield at Redgate. For a slightly more cynical view see post in General Moto GP chat under topic 'Is parity hurting Moto GP?' Otherwise, hope you have a brilliant weekend buddy!

I was up for going this year and it would have been my first MotoGP, but I thought it was 29 June and when I went to buy the tickets I realised 21 and 22 June clashes with a best friend's wedding that I'm a Groomsman at, so I won't be going - d'oh! I'm planning on doing a European round instead though.

tahnks guys. And sorry i think i have stuck this in the wrong place. I don't know new girl on the block and already she could be getting in trouble hahahaha

people!

if you're still looking for hotels near assen, I FOUND ONE with available rooms in exloo. I had to check some hotels for another member who decided not to go, but I already contacted a couple hotels near the track in other villages tho and they still have some rooms left
<
anyone still looking for a place to stay???

You mean we couldn't just crash at your house? If we had to, we'd set up a tent in the front yard. We'd be quiet. We'd go to bed after the beer runs out.

I live like 150km/93 miles away from assen, but you're all welcome here if you want, parents will welcome you all with open arms
<
you can leave the tent at home, plenty of room in the house for you all

<span style="font-size:18pt;line-height:100%<div align='center'>DONNINGTON GP

Yea, i'll be there for the race day only.

I'll be going with 2 mates from boston. Camping from friday night till sunday. I find that craner curves is the best place to see it all

<span style="font-size:18pt;line-height:100%<div align='center'>CATALUNYA GP

I'm looking into going to Catalunya this year but have never been to a MotoGP weekend before, so any recommendations on travel packages, places to book flights, hotels etc. would be really appreciated?

What are good viewing points/grandstands at the circuit?

Do they let you storm the circuit to get to the podium when the race has finished?

I went in 2003 too, probably the best GP weekend I've been to
<

Sadly I'm missing out again this year, I'm skint

Despite the official ticket site saying seats are available in stands B, G and C, when you submit your selection it then says none are.

If I go for General Admission can anybody recommend good viewing spots that can also see a screen.
