I am going to Barcelona this year. First time at a foreign gp. Am looking forward to it and am travellng rom Salou to the circuit on Sat and Sun via public transport. first train is at 7 am, wish there were earlier ones as we wont arrive until about 10. Might hire a car and leave about 5.

Last year was my first visit to Assen, having been a long-time follower (since 2002), and I was really blown away by the track atmosphere. From hearing the bikes from the bus (while still not within eye's-view of the track) to seeing track action upclose for the first time. It's completely different than watching it on tv. So I am proud to say that for 2008 I will definitely be present! Speaking as an equal MotoGP fan (although I may not know who you are exactly or have the chance to meet up):

it's amazing, isn't it! I'm already looking forward to it too. what a luck the superbikes is in less than 15 days

hopping to go to laguna seca this year. will have a laugh with my old sparing partner jumkie and burky if he is there selling his master pieces, anyone else going ?

here's a map with all the possible campings around the track and where they are located. again, our country number is 0031 or +31 to put infront of the phonenumbers if you want to make a phonecall for more info.

keep in mind that these campings are very primitive: no save parkinglot for you bike, no toiletbuildings etc

I've been looking around for another member of the forum to see if the hotels in the area have rooms left, but no luck so far.
