Formula 1 2008

The FIA need to accept that the teams have the power, without them (and specifically Ferrari) the sport is nothing.

We are coming to the end of 2008 grand finale and the Brazilian are praying for the return of "Senna" aka Massa. If he can pull and capture the title from supposed title contender L Hamilton, Massa shall be remembered as one of the greatest F1 driver from Brazil..

I can't wait to see the chequered flag or it could the first lap incident where Alonso hit the back of LH car.. then it's all over..

I don't understand which of those articles is so funny?

why is it funny? It makes perfect sense and is one of the more reasonable thing Alonso has said recently.

because i find it funny. because even if i know he's saying the truth, it still sounds like he's still sour from last year's incidents. especially since it came out only after the "i will help massa to win" article

It's starting to rain here at about 350 KM (~218 miles) from São Paulo. It's going to rain tomorrow at Interlagos. All weather forecast are given the rain as right for tomorrow's race and it seems won't be soft rain.

The race would be very interesting to watch.

LH is under pressure, but I don't think he will throw away again the title. It will be very tough to Massa gain the title tomorrow. Anyway, I hope Brazilian's weather plays alongside Massa.

Massa needs to fight and believe until the last turn.

Let's see what happens. Good lucky all.

Well if it rains he'd best not drive like he did at Silverstone this year.

I'd love Massa to win it, but I can't see it happening - especially if it's wet.

What about Monaco performance?

Massa is on Pole and LH 4th. We will see tomorrow if Massa can win the race. There is still possibility for Massa to win the championship but that's more on his luck. Anything can happen till Pele raise the chequered falg..

The pressure must be on Lewis, as Massa got nothing to lose. If Massa did win the WC, he is the newest Brazilian Hero...

All ive done today is wait for this race. I'm beside myself!! So nervous..................

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (somedamnwriter @ Nov 2 2008, 04:42 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>i'm sleepy...
LOL, really! Yeah, I guess it's almost bedtime for you!!! But..stay up ok, you cant possibly miss this. Too bad Kimi isn't one of the contenders anymore...but actually I don't mind, I'm still really excited!!!

If it's dry, Massa should win the race, and Lewis should finish on the podium. If it's wet, I can't see Massa winning, so for massa's sake it should be dry, but...I think we'll see some rain. Either way, it should be interesting. Go Massa...and Go Lewis!!!

I wish them both the best!

Wow, that was a close one. What happened to Glock? He was on dry tyres, but I didn´t watch when he got behind Hamilton...

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WHAT A FINISH!!!!! NOBODY COULD HAVE EXPECTED THIS TO HAPPEN!!!!!

I'm still in shock actually...
First of all: CONGRATULATIONS TO LEWIS HAMILTON FOR WINNING HIS MAIDEN F1 TITLE, HE IS THE 2008 CHAMPION!!!! Overall, he is the deserved winner!!!!

Secondly:
Massa definitely is the man of the race, he did what he had to, he took pole, won the race (also set FL), didn't do anything wrong.....he kept fighting till the very end, but...unfortunately for him, it was not meant to be...he did a great job this season, and the way he acted after the race: AMAZING!!!! I hope he'll challenge for the title next year!

At least Ferrari won the WCC!!! Congrats to the reds for defending their title. If I'm right, Raikkonen still managed to end 3rd in the WDC, but who cares, lol!!!!

Damn, I'm in shock!!!

I'm not usually an F1 fan but that looked like a conspiracy to me, Glock passed them both because it was not very wet and slows down on the last corner when it was still not raining hard.

A few corners before that Hamilton had no grip.
