Great finish. Good to see George willing to give a bit and have a battle. Mentally, he is in a completely different plave to just 4 or 5 months ago. What a difference a tank makes.

Good result for Marquez as well. His healthy lead just got a lot healthier.

Hope for a few more days weather like this at Silverstone in a couple of weeks!!!!!

After so many years watching Moto GP, I still get surprised often. I fully expected Jorge to fade and the exact bloody opposite happened. I guess Jorge isn't the only one still learning.
When he ran wide at the top of the hill I thought that was it and his head would go.
I was very wrong once more!!!

God damn that was a cracker! For a while there I thought we would never get to see Jojo with enough confidence in the Ducati to be able to fight like that. I'm glad to be proven wrong!

I would recommend learning a bit about Japanese work and business etiquette before talking about this.

I have spent 12 years working with the Japanese and 3 years living win one. I know what I saw there. Do you?

Does he let you use his electronic toilet?

Methhead is on some really bargain basement stuff today.
His weak jabs are even weaker than usual.

Do you even actually post this stuff or are these just random robot posts? I ask because you appear to be just recycling the same verbatim ripostes (if one actually qualifies them that) you were using 8 months ago.

Well ladies and gents what a masterclass performance from my boy Jorge proving for once and all he is up for a fight with the best of them,I am very proud indeed :)

Drugged that person for companion, just like your idol & team are doing for results....

I am really looking forward to him on a Honda next year.
Hopefully his learning curve is very short this time around.

WOW, that may be the first time I’ve ever seen Marc just get completely outsmarted at his own game in the motogp class.

Marquez clearly made that block pass move on Lorenzo at turn 3 multiple times to push him wide so that he could get the better drive into the middle section and tried to convince him that he was going to do the exact same thing on the last lap. Instead, Marquez tried the same move but instead of going wide on the last lap he cut in real early thinking Lorenzo had “learned” from the block pass from the previous laps that the only option he had in that corner was to cut in. Instead, Lorenzo literally calls Marc’s bluff and takes the regular wider line instead and Marquez was nowhere to be found on that line because he was parked on the inside.

Clearly amazing stuff from Jorge, I don’t know if I’ve ever seen him look this mentally competent in Motogp, dudes on cloud nine. Looks like he has one hand on second place in the championship already!

Some side notes: Yamaha sucks and Lin Jarvis will be gone before the end of the year; my guess is there will be a total management overall kind of like Ferrari does in F1 every 5 years.
Also, thank god Ducati signed world super stock legend Danilo Petrruci for next year, I’m sure he will be able to fight for the win like that constantly /sarcasm. Good going Duc, we finally got a ....... rider in a situation who could actually stop Marquez from winning every championship he enters and you let Dovis propaganda .... it all up. I’m just going to say it again, Dovi is the same guy who got rekt by dani Pedrosa for YEARS at Honda.

Felt like Brno redux, but with Jorge coming out on top. Last 5 laps were great. Main takeaway - is Ducati has reiterated their long awaited arrival as a MotoGP superpower, sadly tho, concurrent with Yamaha's fall from grace. Wonderful to see how Lorenzo has chameleoned his riding style as this late stage in his career.

One other difference was Marquez trying to break everyone early doors before realising that was just going to cook the tyres. Gave it a good go though and it was better than waching a precession for 20 odd laps like last week.

Exactly. Marquez’s pragmatism now seems the equal of his compulsion to succeed. A hard-to-beat combo.

I dunno. Many believed that Dovi’s bikes at HRC were intentional emasculated at Repsol’s behest to keep him from overshadowing Pedrosa, which seemed to be borne out by the way he would be consistently faster whenever Pedrosa was off having more plates installed. Then there’s the matter of Pedrosa still on the bike engineered around him virtually never finishing higher than Dovi, even in the early days of Gigi’s redevelopment of the bike.

Jorge looked really strong, and that was a fantastic ruse. His (and everyone's) problem is still that Marquez is really strong everywhere.
