If stoner does prove to be competitive in the race as well as in practice he will need to give a lot of credit to nicky, since it seems doubtful the development of the yamaha has stood still for the last 3 months. Nicky also appears to be only half a second off dani, although I was out and unable to follow fp2.

The actual pace shown on hard tyres so far shows Stoner fastest, followed by Lorenzo and Rossi very close to each other.
It could be that rather than inserting himself between the two, Stoner wants to leave both of them behind...
If it comes to a close race, I'd expect Stoner and Lorenzo to fight for the win with Rossi careful not to make any mistakes and aiming at the podium, ready to take advantage of any mistake up front.

I can see a victory coming on Sunday. Been thinking about the excuse that the anti stoner fans will come up with if he wins - like - he had an unfair advantage because he is so rested and the others have had to do more races!!!

good to see you here backing up your man..... most wont or wouldnt unless hes ontop or won a race.
to be honest its good to see him back his form looks pretty good, i knew he would comeback faster that was the hole point of taking the break to sort himself out.
if he wins sunday then good on him, it means him taking time off paid off and was the right dessicion
isit me or is the ducati looking slimmer? like someone has trimmed the fat of a prime slab of meat.

bbc mentioned casey says he feels better after cutting lactose out of his diet and it looks like elias to moto2 and de-ang to pramac. roger burnett talked a bit and it looks like pramac are in the situation of who can pay to ride for them type of situation,

From what I have read it seems Stoner was overtraining and losing weight. So in his recovery he put weight back on ....... hence he is now fatter, and the Ducati looks slimmer under him

25 mins left stoner top into the 1.36.9
edit a change to the rules re:the 5 engines for the rest of the season.
before if u used more than 5 engines it was a -10 point rider penalty.
now its the team will lose -10 points in the team standings and the rider will start the race from the back of the grid if they use more than 5 engines.no points deducted
