we've all been talkin about & readin diffrent things on the happenings between stoner & rossi at laguna. was rossi to aggressive? was he makin dirty moves on stoner? or was this just supreme racecraft? doin what he had to do to get the job done?

Stone has been schooled . It's just as simple as that !.
I did'nt think it was dirty but it was hard racing. Just like that vid of Schwantz and Rainey in the Laguna thread, Casey was 4 when that race was going on, I think he needs to go to halfords or where ever you can get hold of those old races and spend his break watching how the real nutters rode, and be prepared to give the Doc some of his own medicine in the 2nd half

Delete this thread it is a joke. If you go back and watch some races in the 90s you will see how tame it makes Laguna. Its like the Stoner vs Rossi battle is Playboy, and racing in the 90s is full out hardcore buttsecks......that is all......

I bet you $$$ Roger put you up to this.
I voted DIRTY. I'm saying he made a dirty 'brake check' on Stoner.
i vote hard but fair, BUT without being in the seat of stoners ducati for the race, i and everyone here does not know with certainty if rossis' riding was clean. it did look clean, but stoner is the best person to judge IMO.

Voted no. Stoner wiped out all on his own. Rossi clearly planned the blocking move and couldn't have hoped for a better result but that is racing and Stoner could possibly have caught up to Rossi if he hadn't tipped it over. I only felt bad that the fight didn't continue until the flag.

Wow seems this whole thread has turned into a thread about nothing ...... you do realise that even Stoner said quite categorically, it was not the braking move ... it was the out of control stuff at the corkscrew
